Director and Writer Bahadir Karasu completed the short film script in 6 months, then realized it would be almost impossible to make the film with the budget he had, so he collaborated with Italian director Fabrizio Rossetti who also produced the film and developed the story.
The Istanbul and Barcelona scenes were shot separately; the actors involved in both scenes never saw each other during principal photography.
