No, I'm not making this review as a joke. Someone out there actually decided to name their cartoon... Bibleman. Imagine if Captain Planet was 500% more cheesier and handfisted with its' message. Well, this version of Captain Planet would be better than that. Our hero... Bibleman... has one goal. To lead kids to Jesus. His weapon... the word of God. Some people speculate that it is a sword, but, the show claims that this thing is the word of God, so, I don't know. Let's just move on. NEVER... have I heard of a studio that failed so badly to appeal to the young hip crowd. Our hero... Bibleman... is tasked to convert children to Jesus with... Biblegirl. Together, they make Bibleteam. Ugh, how can someone be so unoriginal until that point? Was he homeschooled all along? Did the people who create this show thought that this was the stupidest idea? Dr Fear is here to conquer Earth with... the dreaded Science! The devious Baroness wants to have kids to... debate among friends and family about God! Worse! The evil Master of Maybe is here to make kids... question their doubts about the gospel! Oh no! I have to be honest, This is the most retarded, cringeworthy and idiotic garbage the kids were fed. At least Dorbees was not intent on shoving morals. The Animated Adventures of Bibleman is the worst religious propaganda of all time.

Okay I admit I'm not the demographic for this show but as a person who grew up watching a lot of children's christian media there are just better options, the episodes are over generalizing in their subject matter and are just ridiculous. And I know this doesn't matter to everyone but the animation is HORRENDOUS and the voice acting is mediocre. I could go in depth but this show isn't worth it.

This was and is a horrible idea for the beloved christian live action children series it should have never been put to animation I hope that b&h publishing reconcider putting bibleman back in live action with the original cast from the 90s "the bibleman adventure"version or the ok "bibleman powersource" version . This animated series should not exist

Welcome to the animated adventures of...BIBLEMAN...yay? ok for starters this show is like the cringe factor of DORBEES and its sooooooo FRICKEN cheesy. Our "hero" BIBLEMAN is going to save your children from The Master of Maybe! OH GOD. I've gotta be honest I have never wanted the villains to win so badly in a cartoon before. honestly for all the cringy religious cartoons in the world this one takes the cake! I was literally slamming my head against the wall when my Dad made me watch this with my brother and our "hero" BIBLEMAN is joined by BIBLETEAM I would rather watch flipping CAILOU instead of this DO NOT make your kids watch this! Make them watch DORBEES if you have too!

This show is good for little kids. Sure you could sit them in front of the television to watch mindless cartoons and absorb nonsense into their world. I would rather my younger children learn Bible verses and a positive Biblical message. It is not a grown-up show, maybe that is the confusion with the negative comments here. My four year old is walking around quoting Bible verses and singing Bible songs. Better than most nonsense on television! The cartoon version is a great update from the older series (which was good for its time). Thank you for this series!

My 4 year old son adores this show. I wish the animation were less bright and I wish the female heros wore more modest outfits but I really appreciate the dedication to lessons directly from scripture. The superhero, Bibleman, is a great teacher and all of my kids look forward to watching this show on Saturday mornings.

You know religious Cartoons, Some are fun and informative. While others, such as this, are absolute trash. The first time I've ever heard of this was on a Phantomstrider list and though "Now how could this be bad?" and when I saw that (most) of the antagonists of the show were mad scientists, I then thought "Now why would you hate science all because of one Theory?" Heck, there are even some scriptures that even have scientific information! I'd rather watch Boople or Donkey Ollie over this. The only religous show I think that's worse than this is the infamous Tomorrow's Pioneers.

This is a wonderful show for kids! There is nothing bad in the shows and it shows how Gods word defeats the enemy in everyday life. All of my children love this show.

My boys love this series and we are eagerly waiting for the next installment. This show is for young boys and girls who are growing up in Christian families. My boys are able to quote Ephesian 6 - the armor of God because of the fun theme song. Each episode they meet a new bad guy who personifies a sin or something that is against God's best. The boys love pretending to fight evil and we talk about how they could learn to fight real evil in life like people being mean to friends, not sharing or being selfish. It is fun loving and joyful. My boys love it has given them a good outlet for their desire to defend what is right. I love this show and would recommend it to any Christian family who has young boys especially. :)

I created an account on this site just because of what I am reading from other reviews. It makes me wonder: what's the point of even allowing reviews, when clearly this site is full of haters. I have a message to those rating this cartoon 1-star: you guys have probably too much free time to come here and write hatred reviews -- probably because of boredom for not doing something meaningful with your life. God have mercy on you. Clearly you don't know that whatever bad you talk about others, it will come back to you 10 times worse. Good luck continuing spreading your hate.
That said, I believe that there is a public for each movie/series. It's just that being a Christian animated children series, people with lack of understanding on the subject will make fun of it, as you can easily see from these reviews. It's not a perfect cartoon; but fun enough for my boys (2 & 4) to keep watching it non-stop on their first time. This hardly happens on most shows or videos, as they quickly loose interest. It's refreshing to see a kids cartoon that is about subjects of kindness; something we humans need so much lately.
To the creators of this series, if you ever read this: don't get distracted by bad reviews and keep offering quality content like this. You help making this world a little more kind. Hopefully you will continue with another season, as this is definitively worth continuing exploring. I am giving my full 10/10 support. God bless.

Yes, it is cheesy. Yes, the colors are too bright, and the animation isnt the best. The message is good overall for children. I have some issues with some of the underlying messages, but i watch with my kid, so we can talk about it. Compared to some of the crap out there, this is a good show for my sons to watch!

I am not a massive fan of this show, never have been, but it teaches your children positive, biblical based morals and to be kind and loving to one another. Beats the heck out of throwing your kids in front of trash like paw patrols or other modern shows fulled with subliminal messages.
As for all the negative reviews, if you read them carefully, I am pretty sure they are all written by the same person. They all read almost identically and are a sad attempt by someone who is just angry at God and therefore anything that might promote Christianity of Jesus.
Don't believe the haters. Put your kids in front of something Godly and wholesome!

So, to begin: I am a Christian with young children. I would assume that if someone is just watching this for their own entertainment, someone who is not a Christian, they will hate it, indeed; they don't even love Jesus, so this would definitely be foolishness to them. But to a Christian parent, this series is ABSOLUTE GOLD. Not only is the writing creative and varied--it's not just Bibleman winning the day versus a baddie--but the principles taught are solidly Biblical and rich with references. The tone is lighthearted with smidgens of humor all around. Embedded within each show is a Bible story retold in cg flannel-like animation, so not all of the teaching is analogy. The members of the Bibleteam (Bibleman, Cypher, Biblegirl, and Melody) are each used well, interact with personality and positive chemistry, and are engaging. I am very impressed with how the writers were intentional about showing the human side of the characters--out of costume, drinking Slush-EZ (the non-copyright infringing name for Slushies), working their "cover" jobs. More clear than the live series of old is that Bibleman and crew are actually fighting demons of sin--mind you, they are colorful characters too, not Gothic or scary--and battle them with the Armor of God. The Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18)is the entire premise of the series. This version is an improvement over the original simply because it allows more creativity and explosive effects because of being computer generated. Even the voice acting is solid, especially for the bad guys. The one con that I can think of is that, in the true mold of the original series, it can tend to be wordy when it comes to the verses, not using versions that are easy for kids to understand (Just look at how wordy the titles are). That's it. The colors and animation is very solid for today's kids. You can trust this series to help lay the foundation of trusting what God says in His Word to live their lives by. The best episodes, in my opinion, are 1)The Ronin of Wrong, 2)The Shadow of Doubt (surprise hero in this one), 3)The Fibbler. Finally, I love their depiction of the local church. I've never seen such a great integration of normal ministries and youth groups.
Is it better than Veggie Tales? In today's Marvel Superhero climate, I would say yes, although the Netflix Veggie Tales episodes are stellar. This series is all about action, and "Fighting for the Truth and Way." It deserves your patronage.

My 2 year old has watched every episode on right now media at least 10 time each. He love love loves Bibleman he refused to watch Phineas and Pherb and only wanted Bibleman. He ask to watch it in the morning and in the evening. We don't mind it either. It's refreshing seeing the life lessons tied into reword situations using scripture. We have. Noticed a couple Easter eggs if greater wisdom then you recieve face value. Such a fun show!
I think most of the negative reviews have issue with the basis of the show, the Bible, not the show itself. It's one of my kids' favorites. It's cheesy, but a good and fun way to depict good values and being aware of the negative forces at work in our kids' lives.
I also really appreciate the diversity and inclusion in the Bible team and ensuring that each member of the team has equal value. It's a great way to show our strengths and how people who look different can come together in Gods' Word.
Let the kids be little, let them learn, let them have fun. Bibleman does all that and more. That's all you need to know.

After watching all 26 episodes in a single night, it changes my life. How? I made me into a devout atheist.
I've never seen a show that could change my opinion on religion so quickly and effectively until now. Its honestly impressive.
Genuinely, this show needs to be studied to figure out just how and why it exists as well as disecting how it is able to do what it does to the degree which it archives it.
That's all I have to say about this but I still have to type at least 97 more characters so...
"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible."
