While the main series is reaching its final act it appears HBO is not yet ready to leave Westeros alone as four spin offs are planned for 'Game of Thrones.'
While its unclear at this stage what period or characters the spin offs will deal it, HBO have created four teams of writers to maximise potential, the teams are:
Max Borenstein
His credits include writing the screenplay for Kong: Skull Island and 2014's Godzilla. On the TV side, he was the showrunner and creator of Fox's short-lived Minority Report reboot, which marks his lone small-screen credit. Borenstein next is readying Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Godzilla vs. Kong (2020).
Jane Goldman
Goldman's credits include writing the screenplay for Neil Gaiman's Stardust as well as adapting comic favorite Kick-Ass. Her geek cred includes X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

A few days back we reported on The Flash's Carlos Valdes (Vibe) revealing that Gypsy would be making her way to Central City when the CW show returns from its winter hiatus in 2017, and now The Wrap has the scoop on who'll be playing her. According to them, Jessica Camacho will be suiting up as the inter-dimensional runaway at some point, though they don't specify which episode she'll debut in. Gypsy's power set (invisibility, fear-based illusions, among others) alone should make her a very interesting addition to Team Flash, and her introduction also opens up the possibility of seeing some version of Justice League Detroit assemble in the future. Camacho will be best known for her role as Sophie Foster on Sleepy Hollow, but she's also appeared in the likes of Minority Report, Longmire, and Bones.

The 1974 film “Foxy Brown” starring Pam Grier was a financial success, grossing $2.4 million on a $500,000 budget. At the time, the cult movie was recognized and praised for depicting a strong and powerful African-American woman. Now, per Deadline, a TV adaption of the classic is in development at Hulu with Meagan Good as the lead.
The project, executive produced by DeVon Franklin and Tony Krantz, will be written by “Empire” scribe Malcolm Spellman and Ben Watkins (“Burn Notice”). The original film followed Brown as she sought revenge against the man who murdered her boyfriend. The TV series is being reimagined as a modern version of the original Jack Hill-directed feature.
Good is also set to serve as producer, with Jason Weinberg, Evan Hainey and Drew Comins as executive producers. MGM TV is the studio.

A version of this story on Wilmer Valderrama first appeared in the print edition of TheWrap Magazine’s Fall TV Issue. It’s a simple job: Come in and stir things up. “I tend to be hired for that,” Wilmer Valderrama told TheWrap with a laugh. Almost 20 years into a career that has seen him on programs like “That ’70s Show,” “Yo Mamma,” “From Dusk Till Dawn” and “Minority Report,” the 36-year-old actor has now been tasked to shake up TV’s quietest hit, CBS’ long-running “NCIS,” which for 13 seasons has been ignored by most critics while drawing massive ratings.

The CW's superhero time travel series Legends of Tomorrow promised us new heroes and they're delivering. They've just cast the Justice Society of America's Stargirl. IGN.com reports it's Power Rangers actor Sarah Grey who's grabbed the role of Stargirl, otherwise known as Star-Spangled Kid, otherwise known as Courtney Elizabeth Whitmore. Stargirl was created by DC Entertainment President & Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and introduced in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. #0 back in 1999. Johns created her in honor of his sister who passed away three years earlier and she's mostly retained a youthful, energetic, and hopeful appearance in the comics. Considering how many teenagers they have, Courtney is one of the few DC characters who actually had braces on her teeth at one point. She was, for lack of a better word, normal. While in the DC Comics Bombshells series she has an entirely different origin, in...

Can Wilmer Valderrama help fill the void left behind on NCIS by Michael Weatherly's departure?
He's sure going to try!
Valderrama has been cast as a series regular for NCIS Season 14.
Valderrama's character, who doesn't appear to have a name as of yet, will be a once grounded NCIS field agent who accepted a deep cover assignment years ago and never resurfaced.
Many agents don’t know he’s still on the job or that he’s even alive.
Now, he’s back and his dedication to job and country has left him an unpredictable, charismatic loose cannon.
Hmmm...you have to wonder how an unpredictable (even if charismatic) loose cannon would really fit in with the NCIS team we know and love.
Maybe he won't. Just because he's a series regular doesn't mean he's going to be a part of Gibbs' team.
At least not right away. With so many rules to follow,...

The first season of Legends of Tomorrow wrapped up with a major tease about the Justice Society of America becoming part of the time travelling spinoff series, and further evidence for that being the case has surfaced today in the form of a new casting addition. According to Deadline, Nick Zano (Minority Report) will play Dr. Nate Heywood.
Who, you ask? Well, he’s described as an historian whose grandfather was Commander Steel, a member of the Justice Society of America. That may not sound like a particularly big deal, but it’s worth noting that Nate ends up becoming Steel/Citizen Steel in the comic books, so it won’t be remotely surprising to see the character embark on a similarly heroic path here.
More News From The Web
Introduced back in 2007, Nate was a college football star who shattered his knee and became addicted to painkillers before he was transformed into a being made of steel. Just how much of that story is going to factor into Legends of Tomorrow though obviously remains to be seen.
The addition of Zano is the first of two major casting additions set to be made to Legends of Tomorrow for season two, after the departures of Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Captain Cold. It’s clear that The CW is building towards a full on introduction for the Jsa and seeing what form that ends up taking promises to be a lot of fun for comic book fans when the show returns this Fall.

Boardwalk Empire's Terence Winter has departed HBO show Vinyl ahead of season 2, which will see "a change in the creative direction"...
It's fair to say that things haven't gone swimmingly for HBO's much-hyped Vinyl. The involvement of big names (Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger...) and the richer than rich pickings of the 1970s Us music scene haven't yet added up to TV glory, critically or in terms of ratings.
HBO is still committed, however, to a second season, following a cockily early renewal. That second season will go on without showrunner Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos), it's been confirmed.

Heads are rolling over at HBO as a major behind-the-scenes shakeup on its 1970s rock-n-roll drama "Vinyl" has seen co-creator, executive producer and showrunner Terence Winter being let go from the series due to creative differences.
Feature writer Scott Z. Burns ("The Borne Ultimatum") and "Minority Report" TV series executive producer Max Borenstein will take over for the second season, while Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese remain onboard as executive producers.
It comes as a surprise as HBO has been a home for Winter since "The Sopranos" on which he was executive producer, and then "Boardwalk Empire" which he created and ran for its entire run. He and Scorsese, who also worked on 'Boardwalk,' teamed again for the big-budget "Vinyl" which was hoped to be a major draw for the network.
So far though it hasn't been, reviews have been solid but not exemplary and ratings have been soft.

As HitFix Harpy has covered before, “Minority Report” takes the future very seriously. From accurately reflecting racial demographics based on scientific predictions to extrapolating the future of technology with the help of MIT, the show is trying to ground themselves in the science side of science-fiction. Tonight’s episode takes things a step further…into pre-natal pre-health. From the episode synopsis: Blake withholds information from the Defense Intelligence Agency when he learns they are on the precogs’ trail, and Arthur takes matters into his own hands to save them. Meanwhile, Dash gets a vision of a political assassination that intrudes into Vega’s personal life in the all-new “Memento Mori” episode of Minority Report airing Monday, Nov. 23 (9:01-10:00 Pm Et/Pt) on Fox. In the exclusive clip above, Vega (Meagan Good) and Dash (Stark Sands) try to figure out exactly who would want to assassinate Senator Meizhou-Shi (Angel Desai...

This week’s episode of Minority Report, the third-to-last episode it will ever air, was a prime example of the fraught show’s greatest strengths and greatest weaknesses — of why the show was nixed so early on, and why it’s such a shame that it wasn’t able to get its act together in time to live. Our “monster of the week” plot, in case it wasn’t beaten over your head hard enough, dealt with immigration, a major national issue when the script was conceived, and of course an even more pointed one now, in light of different recent events. Blake (Wilmer Valderrama) is at the center of it all, as a former undocumented non-citizen and child of relative poverty and domestic abuse; still, his story would have been more compelling had the “message” of the episode not come off like an unsubtle after-school special. We do now...

Have you been watching “Minority Report” on Fox? Based on the numbers, the answer is a resounding no. Until this weekend, I was among that majority. But then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked I visited the set as part of a whirlwind press tour. After seeing the massive sets, chatting with the cast, and having a fascinating discussion with their MIT Media Lab consultant Greg Borenstein (check back later for the full interview!), I decided to give the show a try. Now I’m here to tell you that if you like “Shadowrun” or “Neuromancer” or “Bladerunner,” then “Minority Report” is right up your alley. Sure Fox has let us down before — looking at you “Almost Human” — but don’t let the Firefly Effect come into play. “Minority Report” succeeds on several fronts when it comes to predicting the future. It deals with the reality that by 2065 there...

Yesterday HitFix Harpy took a trip to the year 2065 to visit the set of “Minority Report.” While most of what I learned there is under wraps for a few more weeks, I did stumble across something amazing. Stark Sands — who plays precog Dash — has been a busy man. If Broadway comes calling for a dystopian musical about the ethics of enslaving humans to stop murders, the Sands has the opening number ready to go! The delightful @starkweather serenaded us today on the set of #MinorityReport A video posted by Donna Dickens (@mildlyamused83) on Oct 21, 2015 at 6:53pm Pdt According to Sands and fellow cast mates Laura Regan (Agatha) and Nick Zano (Arthur), the musical interlude came about during their hours and hours submerged on the milk bath set. Interesting tidbit, the water was so warm during filming that it was more like a hot tub, causing Regan to basically perform...

About a week after Fox cut the number of episodes for "Minority Report" (the Meagan Good sci-fi series) from 13 down to 10, signaling what will likely be a non-renewal for a second season, given its lackluster ratings, the network has picked up another freshman series, "Rosewood," the medical/police procedural starring Morris Chestnut, for a full season, the network announced today. The series, which acts as a lead-in to Fox's smash hit "Empire's" on Wednesday nights, has held onto decent ratings - maybe thanks in part to "Empire" - posting a healthy debut, drawing around 7.5 million viewers. It's premiere was Fox's strongest new series debut...

Meagan Good has been working in the entertainment industry for well over twenty years. She first burst onto the scene as the troubled and secretive tween, Cicely Batiste in Kasi Lemmons’ 1960’s era “Eve’s Bayou” alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Lynn Whitfield. Since then, Good has been on numerous television shows, and starred in a plethora of films including “Think Like A Man” and “Anchorman 2.” Good’s career has certainly been taken to new heights in the past few years. In 2013, she snagged a starring role on the NBC drama “Deception”. And currently, she leads the new Fox sci-fi drama “Minority Report” as police detective Lara Vega, showing audiences just how badass she can be as an...

If you think some of the biggest shows premiering this fall seem a bit familiar, you aren't wrong.
In addition to the standard influx of brand-new pilots, the fall TV scheduled is jam-packed with spinoffs and reboots of films and TV shows that we already know and love. And while they might not have to explain as much about their characters and major plot points, there are still plenty of questions that need answering.
Questions like: How similar is this to the original? Do I need to watch it before I tune in? And how many of these new shows...

I published my review of "Minority Report" last week. Now it's your turn. For those of you who watched Fox's latest attempt at a sci-fi police procedural, what did you think? Did it feel like a worthy sequel to the Spielberg/Cruise movie, or a cynical undermining of it? Did Meagan Good and/or Stark Sands interest you as leads? Or did the whole thing make you wonder why Fox bothered canceling "Almost Human," given how similar the two shows are? Have at it.

The movie Minority Report left me with a lot of questions. Or actually, it left me with frustrating answers to their questions. Fox’s “Minority Report” takes place in 2065, 10 years after the 2002 movie of the same name does. That means it exists 50 years into our future, which the network cleverly noticed would mark the 75th anniversary season of “The Simpsons.” Fox drew on that fun coincidence by dropping a “Season 75 Spectacular” screen grab (pictured above) of the Al Jean animated series into Monday’s series premiere of its Nick Zano-Wilmer Valderrama vehicle. But the network didn’t stop there. For a bit of fun, Fox animators put together an extended piece celebrating the future of its favorite long-running cartoon. In the video,...
