In a new twist to the usually male heavy story, many of the characters's genders have been altered to make them female. These include protagonist Jim Hawkins as well as Dr. Livesey, Israel Hands, Redruth (now as Red Ruth) and the new characters of Silent Sue and Joan the Goat.
