Well where to start, I enjoyed it?
I mean it had a lot of problems. First and foremost is the product placement. It can be really in your face at times. Sometimes it drifts away and you can forget that this is in fact a really long commercial. But then, BAM! there it is again.
Next is the dialogue. It felt like either it was missing vast chunks of it, especially in conversations with the mother. She would suddenly start conversations with some bit that felt like it should come closer toward the middle of the conversation, I get that this was a short little CGI romp to sell a product (let's not even pretend that it's anything else), but then why fill it with characters like that? I kept on feeling like I was missing something or worse yet that some bits were cut out, like incomplete conversations masquerading as complete ones.
In the end it is a story about a man who through a series of trips into an imaginary realm decides to keep his father's work going. A good story, but bogged down with lots and lots of product placement and some really strange conversation scenes.
