Belka and Strelka spent a day in space aboard Sputnik 2 (Sputnik 5) in 1960 during the Soviet era with a gray rabbit, 42 mice, two rats, flies, and various plants and fungi. They are the first living organisms to survive in outer space. Strelka had six puppies with a dog, Pushok, who participated in many terrestrial space experiments but never made it to space. They bequeathed the dog Laika. The movie is simple and cute, in the end real images... Cute...
