The day a hit and run driver took the life of her little boy, Marilyn died inside. But a chance encounter with a mysterious homeless man will let her see that there are no accidents, and true healing starts with forgiveness.

I will have to say even though the story line had good physical meaning to learning how to forgive others, as well as getting over the things that hurt us the most. The movie was to short, by time I understood what was going on, it was ending.I like that each character was introduced but when introduced in the movie their character story line did not have enough information to show who this person was or where they came from. I would like to see this movie re-done but with more definition of what is going on. The homeless guy just all of a sudden showed up, it would have been nice if I knew how he became that way after we found out he had done what he did. I had know idea he had a wife, children or even a job from how the story line went.

Mysterious Ways

The movie is a Christian based faith struggle and if you know that in the beginning then you will watch with an open heart and mind. I thought the movie was pretty good in that although the lead Wendy Raquel Robinson was in a church most of the time; she often prayed to God for revenge and this shows that although Christian; people are just people with human errors. It shows how Karma or God puts you right in the place you need to be to receive the lesson you need to move on and receive your blessings. It had a few twist and turns with letting us see how the characters are related for some; I knew immediately. If you have an open heart and have ever had a faith struggle, trials and tribulations, pure heartbreak and now are in a more positive forgiving spirit then you may appreciate the story. The struggle is real.

Marilyn (Wendy Raquel Robinson) has trouble moving on after her son was killed in a hit and run. She is the church&#39;s choir director, as that seems to be her only occupation. She has a boyfriend Roland who she ignores and has a choir ready to revolt. One night she runs into Mozart (Gary Dourdan) with her car. He is an educated homeless man, who she helps out. This is an African-American spiritual with multiple themes: 1) Everything happens for a reason.
2) Accept the things you can&#39;t change.
3) Forgiveness
4) And maybe &quot;God works in mysterious ways&quot; but not so much. We never did find out why God took her son, I guess it is one of those Book of Job things. The film is predictable with acting a bit on the hammy sit. For those who like sad uplifting films, this could be the one, although I never felt her pain, because Marilyn was a bit disagreeable.
