A lovely film that gives us a glimpse into the deep emotions of a special pair of police officers.
We gingerly travel with our partners into some difficult and emotional life situations that could occur in the line of duty.
This film is beautifully directed with appealing cinematography. It showcases a story line that is well written with believable situations.
Partners has impressive supporting roles and boasts a rather large cast with very strong acting throughout.
I highly recommend the movie Partners. It is emotional and very satisfying..

An interesting and new way to look at police life, from the inside, so to speak, as we follow the two officers through their lives both as policemen (and women) and as ordinary people like ourselves trying to live a "normal" life and what we know is not "normal", meaning police work and all that entails. We see how it effect them as people. We get to know them more as humans than only as officers of the law and see them not as people more removed from life than we are but possibly more engaged because of the swings and rawness of life that they must encounter and process on a daily basis and must learn how to make it a part of their personal lives. Very engaging and interesting for the viewer. And one that provides us with a new way of thinking about the men and women in Blue.

This is an excellent film and is well written. It proves that special effects and big stars are not needed to make a great film. Every actor plays their part well.
I would certainly be watching this again. If you want to watch a film that is different to what's out there then this is the movie to watch.
It's got everything you need for a great night in. None of the scenes are over the top. There are five stories and each one is character driven.
The film keeps your attention and deals with real life situations.
Highly recommended and look forward to more from the team.

Touching, beautiful movie that sheds a new perspective on police officers and the difficult situations they deal with! The writer, Darren W. Conrad, has taken 27 years of his true to life law enforcement career and created a "Balanced" type story. The characters, though fictional, are so real and organic, it makes you want to jump through the screen and just give them hugs. The story is not meant to move extremely fast. It reminds you of a movie you would watch at 2am with a hot cup of tea underneath a blanket. The story moves very fluent though; and the time lapses are easily explained in the story. The acting is A-Game Plus for mainly local and regional talent. 55 Year Veteran Television and Film Actor, Marco St. John, is beyond brilliant in his character. For such a tall and stocky build character actor, Darren W. Conrad truly gives a raw and honest performance as Officer John Walker. He does just enough to keep consistent and real without going over the top in any aspect. I see certain faith bases aspects to the writing. In a time where Police Officers are facing many challenges, it is so refreshing to see such a story. Though these characters are from a small southern town, it still gives you what goes on out of the uniform. I think this film is fantastic for a low budget Indie Film. The Production Design is beautiful, the score is perfectly composed, and the cinematography for a DSLR Shot Film is spot on. 10 STARS!!!

This film is definitely worth the watch. From the minute it starts it keeps your attention and is very straight forward written with no questions as to what is happening, although there are a couple of surprises along the way that you don't expect. Tastefully and tactfully written appropriate for family. Only once was a "bad word" used and it was justified to show the hurt an anger of the character.
This is not a high action police thriller with a lot of crime and over the top action scenes. Not a lot of violence, although with the story lines, you can definitely tell what these police officers are having to deal with. No blood or horror, just a dramatic story of mostly the personal lives of two police officers that work together and develop a very close personal loving bond.
The ending takes you by surprise and melts your heart.
Highly recommend this movie.

This film provides its audience with many refreshing slice-of-unexpected-life events some sweet and some sour. The steady, constant pace of this film gave me the room to become emotionally invested in, not only the main characters, but also in the lives of the more peripheral characters and story lines. Though, in this piece, each story line takes center stage thanks to the excellent job on the part of editor, director, actors and, of course, the great script. This movie is evidence and proof that we do not always need CGI, special effects and sturm und drang to both create and enjoy good film. Bravo to cast, crew and producers!

In a world of 170 million dollar movies and $100,000 plus 4K-8K Cinema Cameras, it can be so easy to forget how hard it can be to create and produce an independent film. Even harder than this is knowing that all the filmmakers and actors involved have regular lives and careers. I have to say, "Partners" was truly an incredible adventure for a few filmmakers. Creator, Writer, Producer, and Lead Actor, Darren W. Conrad, has done something that 90% of micro to small budget indie filmmakers could not even attempt to do with a law enforcement drama genre story. "Partners" is not meant to be a high action, glamorous police story. It is not set in a big city with a lot of car crashes, chases, etc. "Partners" is meant to simply tell a story from start to finish about the lives of two, small town, veteran police officers. The casting was incredible for the budget. The writing was pure and genuine. There are places in the film where the sound is not 100% perfect; but in no means is poor for a film made for video. The shots are simple but effective. The color correction and lighting is great for the story being told. Leads, Darren W. Conrad and Candace Blanchard are honestly brilliant for their characters. Neither one is forcing their dialogue and simply coming across as two believable and honest characters. I love the fact the film has 100% Original Score. Composer, Brad Hord, did a great job scoring each scene perfectly. The production design gives the film even a higher production value. Wardrobe, Cars, Locations, Props, etc:, are also a huge plus in this film. The film is basically meant to show a different side of police officers and what they deal with in their personal lives. For what it is worth, I love this film! I hope to see these filmmakers move forward in their careers and create higher budget work!
