Director Kellen Gibbs showcases the power of time and what it feels like to be alone perfectly. In what may be the best short film I have ever seen, Gibbs shows his true skill and mastery in storytelling with how time progresses for Quinn while the rest of the world stands still around her. Isaias Garcia is on top form with a beautiful score that encapsulates the power of the film. The film starts off feeling like a fun concept, a child running around in her own personal playground. But you are soon hit with the depressing truth about the concept. And the ending, I won't spoil it, but powerful acting is displayed by the Quinn actresses (Espinola, Knapp, Spencer). Kellen Gibbs is one of the most powerful masters of the craft in the young director field today and his career should be watched as I expect in the coming years, while he has already won a number of awards including for this film, his name will be prefaced with monumental praises and perhaps one day, a little gold man on his mantle.
