Mean spirited, amateurish and unfunny it amazes me this even exists. Who is this aimed at? Who finds this funny? Then again what kind of imbecile trolls at all? Trolling isn't cool kids, and neither is this movie.

I've got more entertainment value off the bottom of my shoe. Twenty minutes of this gave me a splitting headache.
Should have titled this "D**chbags showing their ignorance".
If I could, I would have given it a negative number rating. Don't waste your time!!!

You will definitely be left questioning your movie selection after watching this movie.
This weekend, I decided to entertain myself by watching a movie. I checked for some recently released movies and found out this movie has good IMDb rating. So I thought to give it a try. However after watching it, I am really wondering how did this movie get good IMDb rating.
Really poor acting, unnecessary bragging about almost everything, a pretty boring script, totally irrelevant dialogues and the list goes on... The actors seems to be non-professional. They are not willing to put any efforts in their acting. Scenes keep on switching from one to another place without any significance in the movie. Come on... where is the storyline...
Really had a bad experience and wasted my 75 minutes over weekend. :(

001 Trolling is a unique and entertaining indie comedy. It explores the subject of online trolls in a way that you wouldn't expect. This is a refreshing quality.
Independent comedies can be hit or miss, 001 Trolling is a hit particularly due to its use of style and the interesting approach to the subject of online trolling.
Another bonus, it is free to watch if you have an Amazon Prime account, so if you're looking for something fun to watch, I'd highly suggest this film.

This movie is a bit of bait and switch, it's more of a send up of millennial culture than a full dedicated story about trolling, but pretty interesting nonetheless. I'm used to watching lower budget movies and you have to take the good with the bad. I think the director should take these characters and style of film making to youtube, as his random style would work well as shorter videos.

Odyn and Trey are bosom buddies who are not really different from other guys, doing their quite dull work as security guards and dreaming of hitting the rap music scene sometimes, until one day Odyn, who was pretty obsessed with surfing the Internet, has met the leader of the Grid Gang, Richard Nullman, professional troll, and became his apprentice. Very soon though, the student surpassed his teacher. The plot of the movie is really absorbing, full of unexpected turns, with a touch of dark humor. The actors portray their characters perfectly, in the atmosphere of an urban environment against the background of a vivid rap soundtrack. The key roles are developed in a very special, unique way, featuring collisions of the social media world with reality. The structure of the movie is quite unusual: filled to the brim with gags, so-bad-its-good jokes and just all-around hilarious moments while leaving enough space for a crazy plot. The film nevertheless comes out as an indivisible whole, captivating viewers by the urge to discover upcoming events. It is definitely far from trivial, very fresh and pure fun to watch.
man, this thing is f****** arTIStic! loved the death scene, it reminds me of monty python, irreverent parody of life and virtual life, which is which? you might say it needs more budget, etc. but perhaps this would only cheapen the experience? it opens your eyes to the true reality of the internet, chat rooms, texting, etc. it is all a sham, devouring itself till death takes it.
I noticed around July 20th a lot synchronized "seemingly apolitical" hate mobs started rallying around this movie, after it was receiving a general wave of positive attention for 2 months. I traced many of the reviews back to a facebook post by a disgruntled associate of the film production team, who has been badmouthing Collage Fossil Films for the past 3 weeks with stalker-like obsession. I have no association with anyone in the production, but my curiosity got the best of me. So amidst all the attempts at thought control and sabotage, will you definitely like this movie? It all depends. It's kind of an offbeat atonal satirical humor that only some people can get, and it has an intentionally noisy, scattered narrative. But it's really unique and inspired in it's craziness if that's your sort of thing....then light your bong or rev your asthma inhaler. From his social media the filmmaker seems to be more right wing, or at least libertarian (He previously supported Bernie but now fights back against fake news anti trump narratives pretty regularly and has since mocked Bernie at definitely seems to have voted Trump and listens to Alex Jones) but the film is political only in it's overarching critique of social justice and doxxing culture. The protagonist has SJW elements but seemingly just uses it to win arguments. Maybe that's why the California filmmaker supported Bernie? To fit in...now he's starting to get redpilled? I wish his transition was complete so the film would have come harder in it's attack on the regressive left, but this is a good start. I hope he figures out a decent sequel soon. 002 Trolling? It could be good.
001 Trolling is a weird and crazy movie by Gregg Golding. It combined social and media with the social media plus visceral humour that doesn't shy away from cringe-inducing jokes. It just gives people the thought-provoking impulse, but this on such an unexpected and funny way, the whole story is fulfilled with so many plot twists, you'll never know what happens next. It is definitely a thought provoking, hallucinatory experience, you shouldn't miss out on, if you like weird and crazy stories like this.

Has a glitch, off kilter feel and perverse, dirty quality that keeps you interested. I was interested in the subject of trolling and this movie seems to portray the pathology of different types of trolls very accurately, albeit rather non political. This film comes at a good time, and is worth recommending if you don't mind the aesthetics of microbudget cinema

I love indies and I recommend this one. Society now a days is not only being constantly watched, but trolled by this negative group of evil people to whom, their only purpose in life is to create nothing and hurt good creative-take a chance-souls. I recommend this very well done Indie film! Such a nice movie to watch, such a nice concept to make a movie. I enjoyed watching 001 Trolling!
This sh8t was gangsta brah! Mad visuals and that shorty with the red hair is banging. Too bad they didn't have more Keithcharles Spacebar muzik in it. That n8gga go hard in the paint! All in all this movie was tight wild. I was sipping on a orange Julius while my b1tch gave topp (A white BBW that I met at Walmart the previous Tuesday) and I laughed so hard, and she laughed so hard as we watched it, my load shot through her nostrils dogg. Like it was cafeteria milk. ROLF! This movie is Gangsta! Did I say that already????
Cool edgey tech noir. Not a lot of indie scifi out there and, especially, not a lot of indie scifi worth watching! This one will keep you guessing the whole way through. If you need a break from the glitzy studio scifi that lack any substantive story and edge, then check out the mind blowing gem. Very relevant to today's plugged in society.

This off kilter and hallucinogenic title had me laughing and also fascinated by the bizarre commentary permeating through the whole affair. I loved the film and feel it had a lot going for it. I hope they continue something along these lines as I wanted to see what would become of the characters.

This movie has a wild way of highlighting the chaos that is the internet. It's funny and idiosyncratic, and the main characters' antics are so disturbing that it's fascinating considering its reflection of actual human behavior behind a computer screen.
