Todrick Hall is in the mood to spill some tea. On Thursday, Taylor Swift's Bff probably dished a little more than he was supposed to when he appeared on a morning radio show and spoke of one of the "Gorgeous" singer's old flames. "There was a time last year - I don't know if I'm supposed to say anything," Todrick forewarned, before he continued discussing it anyway. "She was dating someone. I'd actually never met this person, but I could I could just tell every time I would talk to her, she would hunch over." According to Todrick, things got so bad that he had to send Taylor a picture to show her what she looked like whenever she mentioned her ex's name. "I sent her this picture of her as Quasimodo that I edited," he told the radio hosts. "Because I was like, 'You cannot turn into Quasimodo for this guy.

Todrick Hall acknowledges Taylor Swift is at the top of her game these days, but apparently that wasn't always the case. The pop star's longtime bestie and frequent collaborator appeared on The Kid Kraddick Morning Show recently, revealing that he never approved of a particular past boyfriend of Swift's. Hall never mentioned the ex by name, but context clues have led some fans to assume it was Tom Hiddleston who he said turned Swift into "Quasimodo." "There was a time last year—I don't know if I'm supposed to say anything—she was dating someone," Todrick said. "I'd actually never met this person, but I could I could just tell every...

Todrick Hall wrote and recorded an entire album, Straight Outta Oz, and prepped a nationwide tour in mere weeks -- all of which is documented in Behind the Curtain: Todrick Hall. And in this clip, debuting on Et, he reacts to his record hitting No. 2 on the charts. "Further up the charts than we ever could have imagined," he tells Et.
The artist at No. 1? Beyoncé. "To say Beyoncé has inspired and influenced me is an understatement, so to be second on the charts only to my idol was one thing," Hall says, calling it "one of the most incredible moments of my life." The video for Taylor Swift's new single, "Look What You Made Me Do," premiered during the MTV VMAs on Sunday night. The visual was packed with hidden references to Taylor's ex-lovers, celebrity feuds, and past personas - and during one scene, it appears that she may have taken a swipe at a few of her (former?) famous friends. RelatedTaylor Swift Spoke to My Soul, Until I Grew Up - and She Didn't Taylor's group of high-profile girlfriends - her "squad," if you will - has gotten a lot of attention and criticism over the years; many have brought up the fact that they all look similar (something the singer alluded to in the "Lwymmd" video) and question whether Taylor's seemingly revolving door of friendships is even real. Taylor addressed the backlash in a 2016 Vogue interview, calling the accusations "hurtful" and adding, "When we're all friends in fifteen years and raising our kids together,...

But Todrick Hall is clearly up for the challenge when he steps into those iconic shoes as Lola in Kinky Boots on Broadway beginning Tuesday -- a role first made famous by Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor in the 2005 British film and later by Billy Porter, who won a Tony Award for his turn as a drag queen who helps a struggling factory owner by creating a line of sturdy stilettos.
It’s the gig of a lifetime for Hall, who got his start on the Great White Way before moving to Los Angeles to pursue YouTube.

It was a flash mob set inside of a Target that earned Todrick Hall the approval of Beyonce and put him on the map back in 2011, but it was a different flash mob altogether that helped score him his new MTV series. For one of the initial pitch meetings, Hall recruited his friends and collaborators to put on a surprise song and dance performance for executive producers Brian Graden and Danny Rose. Set to an original song called “Put Me on TV,” the flash mob is what sold the execs on the idea that eventually became Todrick’s reality show premiering Monday.

As companies like Virgin America can attest, Hall is in general a strong creative partner for brands, but his appearances at VMAs served a greater purpose.
