Model - the show "100 Greatest Britons". the result - intense debates about the most representatives Romanians. a good idea. a not brilliant result. because, like each show, it has no roots. it is an occasion for exprime passions and preferences, to build certitudes based by superficial knowledge, to mix myths, legends and historical sources. like a children game. sure, at first sigh, it was a great opportunity for a society in transition to democratic values to define itself. in fact - it was only, unfortunately, a TV show. a temptation for a large public to become part, at first sigh, of a significant project. like each version of it in different countries. not bad, at final verdict. but not enough.
