U.K. actor Meera Syal (“Yesterday”) and India’s Abhay Deol (“Chopsticks”) have joined the cast of Disney Channel Original Movie “Spin,” directed by Manjari Makijany (“Desert Dolphin”).

“Spin” follows an Indian-American teen who learns she has a passion for creating DJ mixes that blend the textures of her Indian heritage and the world around her. She discovers that she has a natural gift for creating beats and producing music but must find the courage to follow her true inner talent.

Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” remix, which features verses from Beyoncé, claimed Number One on the latest Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart. “Savage,” which has become enormously popular on TikTok, hung out in the Top Ten for all of April. The addition of Beyoncé helped the single earn more than 26 million streams, good enough to jump to the top of the chart. Noah Centineo is expanding on recent comments he made about his sobriety.

During an interview on Variety and iHeartRadio’s podcast, The Big Ticket with Marc Malkin, Centineo was asked about the fan reaction to his recent Harper’s Bazaar digital cover, in which he revealed that he had gotten sober.
