The film was shot in a house in Oxfordshire that has been notoriously haunted since the 1920s.
The main cast and crew lived in the house for two weeks in order to feel the full history of the house and learn as many of its "quirks" as possible.
The film's lead character was named "Charlotte" in honor of the lady who owned and lived in the house for over 60 years.
The house where most of the film takes place was sold just after filming started and was due for renovation the day after filming finished.
This is the second time actress Aisling Knight has worked with director Simon Richardson; the first was 2012's 'World of Hurt.'
