This is a independent movie. Not a big budget, big studio, big name effort. I don't get why reviewers try to be so dramatic in their posts.
Outlaw Lucas comes to a cross roads in his life. Choose to stay on the path of being an outlaw or following his new love interest and the righteous path to God. Along the way he must deal with the RedJack Gang, a bounty hunter and a US Marshal. Not to mention his new girls sister, mother and her male friend, the retired sheriff. Lost Outlaw had some poor acting efforts, most all the females in the cast, Quinn and all the miners. Also had a couple that were alright, Jack, Tucker, Daniels, Sal and Enos. And a couple the were just very stiff, Lucas and Tate. Nonetheless they are all still likable. The story is ok but nothing special. The cinematography was pretty good, wardrobe, sets and locations look good. Music was a good effort.
Overall Lost Outlaw is a so-so movie, fine to rent for four bucks but not one I'd watch more than once or go out and purchase.
No need to be ridiculous with the 'worst movie in the history of mankind' or 'this film is the Muhammad Ali of movies' type of self serving post though.

Well, hmmm. Not the best movie I've seen in a while. Right from the start it's pretty hooky. The acting is mostly poor, Jack, Quinn, and the gang don't do a very job, but the supporting cast is even worse. The retired sheriff and the Marshall seem ok and the two older guys were pretty funny as comedy relief but the story just lacks. It's obvious none of the cast really know how to ride a horse! The saving grace is the theme song, it's a real ear worm...
Granted, I am not really overly keen on Westerns, as there is a heap of dubious movies out there. But I will admit that every now and again then there does come some gold to the surface in the Western genre. But when I sat down to watch the 2021 "Lost Outlaw" movie from writer and director Darrell Mapson, then I wasn't really harboring much of any expectations as I had never heard about it prior to now in 2022, as I sat down to watch it.
And truth be told, then I wasn't really much impressed with the storyline that Darrell Mapson managed to churn out here. The storyline felt too generic and didn't ever manage to get off of the ground. And that made for a rather monotonous and mundane movie experience. So yeah, "Lost Outlaw" wasn't really a particularly great movie.
The acting performances in "Lost Outlaw" were fairly okay for the most parts, so at least that counted for something. I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble here, which is usually something I enjoy in movies. But for some reason that just hardly mattered in "Lost Outlaw", as I didn't get worked up about it.
There are far better Western movies out there, but I am sure that "Lost Outlaw" will provide the hardcore Western fans with some enjoyment. For me, while "Lost Outlaw" was a Western movie, it just lacked that particular Western atmosphere.
My rating of "Lost Outlaw" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

How, in this day and age, does something like this even get on to a script... let alone shot and released?!
Backyard amateur everything, star wars fan fiction puts this to shame... and those are barely tolerable.

Why make this movie? To wash money or to blow money?
Really bad directing, bad acting , bad script, just bad . Almost as if it was made by some High school kids.
The dialogue is like listening to molases. I had to switch off half way it was so bad.

A two year old made this move it was so stupid. They wasted money on this movie this movie probably made for a Two year old. Well since they want some more reviews
How in the world could anyone make a stupid movie like this. How much more can I degrade this movie it was so stupid. They have to have 600 words so I hope that they never waste money on movie like this again and save money to use for a better flim. Why in the world would they spend so much money on such a crazy movie I would like to have seen something a little better than such a ridiculous movie but that is the way a lot of these film makers are.

I'm sorry, this time I couldn't give ore stars than 5 and probably it deserves less. Unfortunately making a western movie with a very low budget is really hard and when the script is not good enough, the final result would be bad and this time it happened.
It lacks continuity, it looks that they shot the movie and then they edited everything almost randomly.
It's not very pleasant to see it, even because it seems they shot it in the backyard.
It's not credible, it doesn't give the idea of the old far west, and even the fight is just a farce. The actors are not good to handle the weapons they have and it's easy to understand that everything is fake... it's a movie, it's fiction, and there is no chance to think of reality.
I'm sorry, but it didn't work at all. The actors weren't so bad, but it lacks dialogue, the script is quite bad, or let's say, it's poor.
Anyway I know that everyone tried hard to make this movie possible, but... pity.

I enjoyed this movie. Most of the characters were believable and the two older miners were a fun addition to the plot. I especially enjoyed the performances of the two older brothers in the gang, Jack and Quinn, both very believable actors. The preacher, the mother and the US Marshall were also great in their roles. Some of the other characters were a little stiff and that slowed the plot a bit, but over all, it was a worthy effort.

Some nice work for an Indy western.
Pros - nice cinematography, costumes, story, sets.
Cons- sound, some of the acting, dialogue.
Overall it's a nice watch. Some of the acting is good some not so good. Unfortunately the females all seem to ramble their lines too fast and with little emotion. A couple of the men, the bounty hunter and Lucas are also stiff in their delivery. The dialogue uses a lot of terms that we're not used in the time period, " dad split" is the main one that comes to mind. The costumes look pretty good and the story is easy to follow. The sound seems to come in and out and I swear I heard a car motor start up during the last scene.
But It's a great effort and for a independent movie and a western to boot ( pun intended ), it's worth a watch.
A solid 6+

I saw Lost Outlaw at a Theatre. Didn't know much going in. I was pleasently surprised at the Storyline and Acting. Veteran Actor David Novak plays a rare Bad Guy in this Film. He was as always realistic in this Role. Actor Rickey Bird jr plays an amazing outlaw. He was born to be in Westerns. Director Darrell Mapson is also in Front of the Camera and plays a sadistic Outlaw. Actor Jefferey Smith is a Natural as.the Marshal. Smith has a rugged cowboy look and gives a great performance. Shannon Sinclear.and Lisa Rentuor beautiful Damsels in Distress. Would have liked to see more of Veteran Actor Willy Ortlieb as a Bounty Hunter. His mostly Silent means Business Character peaked my Interest. Young lovers and Lead Actors. Claude Ball and Heather. Marie Peterson give Solid Performances. Actor Chad Holman carries the Comedy Relief with ease. Some very nice Locations and a Tight woven Script make this a Solid Western with a Message..

This was an interesting plot and easy to follow. Fun characters and a good message for families with some good drama as well. I liked the western locations and clothes. The characters were believable and done well on a low budget. You would never know it was.
