I visit sites like kissasian and dramanice regularly to search for new Asian (non Indian) flicks. I found this listed as "Deep Trap" and had a hard time finding it on IMDb. The premise looked interesting and I thought of giving it a go as I was yearning for a brutal and explicit thriller. Moderately satisfied, here I am writing a review since it hasn't been reviewed yet.
Kwon Joon-sik and Lee So-yeon are a married couple distressed and depressed by a miscarriage and Joon sik suffers from a temporary erectile dysfunction as a result too. They decide to take a day off and head to a restaurant located on a remote island for a change of scenery . The restaurant owner park is a heavily built creepy man with a mute and pretty girl Min Hee in his tow. It is reveled later in the film what secrets each of them harbor and what are the cruel intentions of psycho Park for the couple.
The films a takes a good 30 min to set in the pace and start on the actual thrill and I don't and have any complaints. The acting ranges from good to average and is acceptable as well. I wont call it a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat but its pretty decent. It has a couple of graphic sex scenes true to its Korean nature involving a semi brutal rape scene. The ending was somewhat predictable but still enjoyable.
If you are looking for a explicit thriller this definitely should be on your watchlist.

It's an okay film that has a nice twist. I'm not sure if this is classified as a horror movie but it isn't gory. The beginning is a bit slow but the creepiness helps you through. I was a little disappointed with then end. I wanted to know if the circumstances improved for these folks. It wasn't bad though. Check It out.

The premise has some potential but it relies on the stupidity of the couple. There is violence and rape. Just can't buy Ma as the bad guy. He is the hero too often. The animals and food are the grossest thing. Far fetched twist. Not good.

This has to be one of teh worse starts to a movie I have ever seen.
Overacting at the bar in the opening scene. Awful acting by the female lead who looks like she is about to cry all of the time.
They book a trip to somewhere they obviously bhavent seen yet she says she booked it in the net?
Whole plot is stupid.
Switched off after 20 miutes
