Nature Cat's green outfit is based off that of Errol Flynn in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), while his fear of water is an homage to Indiana Jones' fear of snakes.
The show is now cheaply animated in a beginner's animation software due to Adobe Flash (in which it was originally animated with) shutting down.
Nature Cat has been a thing since 1990.
