    Needs a lot of editing

I appreciate what they were trying to do but we don't need 15 examples of each tiny thing. The introductory narration was about 4 x longer than it needed to be. I couldn't make it through a whole episode.

It's satire and irony - perfect!

Other nationalities may well misunderstand the series. It is tongue in cheek - which is a very British skill. Unfortunately, the previous viewer misunderstood the entire series. We always poke fun at ourselves. Some people mistake it for arrogance. Their loss. Listen to the contributors - they are comedians who are insightful and don't have inflated egos. We have a unique sense of humour. Get it or forget it. Check out the British series like midsomer murders, Vexed, for murder mysteries with a sense of humour. American humour tends to be more obvious. And we all love Everybody loves Raymond/Friends/etc, but watch 'Fawlty Towers'/'I give it a Year'/ 'Sweet Revenge' and you will start to loosen up.

    Very British Indeed

Loved the line-up of comedians. The show combines observational, satirical and deadpan-styled themes. Some of the best and brightest English comedians are on the show. Those who dislike it are probably not fond of British humour. Personally, I like wits, sarcasm and satire. I find dark humour more entertaining than slapstick or improv genres, which is why I prefer British humour.

Having said that, I do think the episodes go on for longer than they're worth. The points are recurrent and can quickly lose their charms. If the duration of the show is taken down to about 30 minutes, it would be more appealing to viewers.

    Very Funny

A delightful series! Very funny and entertaining. The Series examines some quarks prominent in British culture, but you don't have to be British to relate to many of the annoyances that they bring up. I find myself identifying with a lot of the topics brought up. It's also educational, through watching the series I found out things about not only British culture but also German, Spanish and French cultures as the narrator often compares how British tradition differs from these other European cultures. The series brings up fun and interesting facts that I was not aware of. The cast is made up of some hilarious, articulate and thoughtful celebrities who come across and very approachable and amiable, you feel like you are really getting to know them and I like that. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone.
