Out for Dinner

The start didn't quite grab my attention, i felt as if it was trying tohard to get me in. The actors could of been better they did not suit there roles. all in all it was poop and 2 spooky 5 me some times it felt like i was just sitting watching a film it's suppost to draw me in and get me involved. i couldn't atualy get into it. I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word. A quote from the king himself this is why we live and who we are. FOR AZEROTH. we will slay the demons.

Spooked my guts out. Right out. So much so that when I looked down I realised that there is a SKELETON INSIDE ME and it was so god damn spooky I began questioning my existence on this earth. My life flashed before my eyes, years spent, wasted, passed me by engaging in trivial matters when I could've been out for dinner.

All this time I could've been eating or spooking or sleeping or sleep-spooking or spook-eating or even eat-sleeping (but never would I verge to the brink of insanity as to partake in double-spooking). This is a short film, as in, it shortens your life span by waking you up to the capitalistic dirt hole we live in every day. 10 out of god damn 10.

This short film attempts, as all horror films must, to shock and terrify its audience, juxtaposing a pleasant country setting with the murderous actions of an escaped madman (how original). But aren't we all sick and tired of horror films by now?

As the astute and world-renowned critic Sean Stockton points out, this film is clearly inspired very heavily by the work of Tommy Wiseau, and the chilling horror masterpiece that is Troll 2. Yet it fails to build upon these foundations,instead filling you with a sense of grave disappointment, making you question whether life is worth living, or if reality is only an illusion constructed by human consciousness to assure us that life is more than an empty, endless void.

Ultimately, I would advise you to avoid this film and instead see the works of some of the auteurs of our age, such as the thought provoking character studies of Michael Bay, or the under-appreciated masterpiece of M Night Shyamalan 'After Earth', starring the modern-day philosopher and masterful thespian Jaden Smith (who I believe may be Laurence Olivier reincarnated).
