Also known as "Pollution the Silent Killer," as represented by the title posted in the film. For the festivals, it was changed to "The Silent Killer" to add an element of surprise to the audience. There was an Public Service Announcement known as "The Silent Killer" back in the 90's, also made by Lime Street Entertainment, which was the reason for the "Pollution" part being added to the title to begin with.
Winner of the Public Service Announcement award at the Cypress College Film Festival.
Jolene Gazmen's film debut.
The composer, Steven Vasquez, wrote this composition back in 1991, first used in the original "Silent Killer." Mr. Vasquez considers it to be his great piece of music he has ever written. It was used in several other Public Service Announcements in the early 90's. When the 2015 version came along, it was written and shot around this piece of music, hence why the movie seems very choreographed around this piece of music.
The dialogue in the driving scene with Jenny Creamer and Jolene Gazmen was improvised. During one of the outtakes, Jolene called the litterbug a caca face. Throughout the rest of the shoot, Caitlin Miller became known as Caitlin the Caca Face.
