    • Trivia
The reference to Kobayashi Maru is from Star Trek. It is a war game scenario that was used to test how Starfleet cadets deal with a no-win scenario. The first and only cadet to pass the scenario was the future Captain James Tiberius Kirk - he only passed by reprogramming the test because he did not believe any scenario could be unwinnable. So, similar to the test being given to the characters in this episode, the only way to pass was to cheat.
    • Goofs
When :Quentin and Alice are on the roof performing the truth ritual, they are both naked with their wrists bound. The only way to release the bonds is to divulge their greatest secret to each other. However, Alice is later shown wearing a shirt with her arms through the sleeves, but her wrists are still bound. There would be no way to put the shirt on that way without removing the rope on her wrists.
    • Quotes

Quentin Coldwater: We have to cheat. They want us to. We've been Kobayashi Maru'd.

William 'Penny' Adiyodi: Whatever that means, yes!

      Surendra: No. No way.

William 'Penny' Adiyodi: You're an idiot. We're cheating.
