#smallframe
I'd like to dedicate my usual Friday 'Small Frame' to indie drama Loves Park. Written and directed by Carol Rhyu, the movie inspired by the Illinois town of the same name is an intriguing story about a pregnant woman and her husband moving from Los Angeles to the aforementioned small town due to family circumstances. The cinematography is magnificent with each frame set up with enchanting details. White Blush own soundtrack adds her spellbinding dream pop to the mix resulting in a great dreamy experience that sometimes feels like a music video without being distracting or distancing itself from the narrative.
Lead actress Alexis Evelyn is a revelation in this film. Her performance as Edie is charmimg all the way from start to finish. Being someone with some level of entrapment within my circumstances and surroundings can feel related to Edie and understand her feelings.
As a conclusion, watch this film on Amazon if you want to witness something real and dreamlike.
