This was such a well done, feel good show. Each episode left me with a smile, and the last episode left me wanting a few more seasons at least, as I was hoping to see more character development in pretty much every character and less 'shallow' love mush.
Would recommend for anyone looking for a feel good, 20 minute, laidback style comedy.

I shall attempt to review this without sounding too gushing. As soon as I saw those two little words 'Craig Cash' on the titles I knew we were going to be in for something good. It's only been a few episodes and I am already hooked, what an absolute corker of a show, I truly love it, it's funny, it's heart warming, it's sweet, it's real. If you get a chance to watch it all I can say is please please do, you won't be disappointed. It's just a lovely, smart, feel good show.
The cast are wonderful, Craig Cash had worked with Susan Cookson before on Early Doors (One of the best comedy shows of all time!) and it's no wonder she's here too, she's wonderful. Ardal O'Hanlon has a wonderful comedy pedigree, he's perfect for the part of Willow's Dad, in joke about him being a Milkman? (Speed 3.) James Tarpey, Rob Kendrick and everyone else are awesome. Great for us that Jaime Winstone is in it, she's a fantastic actress.
Watch and enjoy. 9/10

So refreshing and uplifting. Smiled the whole time. Everything about this one is fantastic. Charming setting, great actors, and stays centered on a foundation of friendship with the love of music at the core. Just awesome. I wish there were more episodes to binge.

What Is there to say? Great characters with great story line as well as a unique and exceptional storey. well done now TV for directing me to it best TV evening I have ever had. The casting was perfect using the young Peter page from the worlds end (a personal favourite of mine). It also contains the relatable situations. It was very funny had great depth and I have watched the whole series over three times. It actually makes you feel very happy which is very rare in a TV show. This is something better than moone boy and just as special I can't wait for season two. When will it come out (pease notify me) BEST PROGRAM I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! !!!!! !!!!!! !!!!!! WATCH WATCH WATCH !!!!
I've just re-watched After Hours and it's just as great as when it was first shown back in 2015. The main story is of 18 year old Willow whose girlfriend has just dumped him, and how he finds happiness and friendship with Lauren and Ollie who make an internet radio show called After Hours from a canal barge in the small town they all live in. There are other storylines that weave their way through the 6 episode series too.
This show features a brilliant soundtrack that totally works with the stories of friendship, family and love. It's rare I would give anything a 10 out of 10 but After Hours has it because it's just perfect as what it is.

I stumbled on this little gem and it has turned out to be one of my go-to shows for repeat viewings. I only wish there had been more episodes! It's just a sweet story about family and friends who love and support each other, with lots of interesting (new to me) music.
Willow is graduating and needs to find work. His dad has been laid off as a milkman and mom is worried about the bills. Willow finds solace listening to an independent radio show hosted by Ollie and Lauren. One day, Willow stumbles on Lauren unexpectedly (he recognizes her voice) and she learns that he is a techie. Just what she needs.
Aside from Ardal O'Hanlon, (who I love, but who has a somewhat minor role) every single actor in this show was unfamiliar to me. They were all great though, and perfect for their parts. They were truly an ensemble cast, and very believable in their roles.
My absolute favorite was Ollie, played by. Rob Kendrick. He was adorable and masterfully portrayed. From the devious little giggle before he meets Willow for the first time, to his enthusiastic, "Mm, it's not!" when asked if his job as a copywriter is exciting, every single line, every facial expression, every movement was perfect. Rob doesn't seem to have done much film work since, but that can't be from lack of talent, that's for sure. I would love to see him in other roles and I hope someone is paying attention and casts him!
I also really liked the character of Chris, portrayed by. Fergus Van Gelder. As far as I can tell from his imdb bio, After Hours is the only film work he's done. WHY??!! He was a natural in his role as Willow's mate. WHY he and Kendrick aren't lighting up our screens in one production after another, I don't know. They both stole the show for me.
If you just want an easygoing show with fun, sweet characters who aren't trying to kill or undermine each other, that has some laughs and some good music, not to mention nice scenery, then I highly suggest you give it a try. Cheers.
