Cowherd is, at the very least, entertaining. He takes interesting stands on a variety of sports issues that require at least some thought. He is more inclined to take "unconventional" positions than to go along with the crowd, and this, in and of itself, can lead him off course at times.
One of his best guests is named Cosell, who analyzes NFL players and does an exceptional job. I have heard no one else in the talking head business as carefully analytical as he is, often leading to surprising results.
Cowherd is not forthe faint of heart. He is brash, and can be absurdly funny. I'm not sure there is an "over the top" for him. One minute he appears thoughtful and well reasoned, the next he's on a Jihaad, complete in its overreaction.
In many ways, he is a bit like Stephen Smith...but without the screaming and fake outrage.
His show is easy to take interest in, and that says something for a talking head sports show.

"The Herd with Colin Cowherd" a daily sports radio show which also is broadcast for 3 hours live on "FS1" is a treat with the latest sports news and happenings as breaking news and previous results are dissected and talked about. And host Colin Cowherd gives outspoken strong opinions and offers thoughts and predictions and often has famous sports guest drop by in the studio. Also neat is the sports trivia questions given some are hard to answers and also neat is the live interactive twitter poll which is so up and down. And last but not least is the eye candy and beauty of one attractive, smart, elegant, and sexy Joy Taylor who gives the news and some insights that's a great eye candy treat! Overall good daily sports news show to watch from time to time!
Colin Cowherd is one of the best sports personalities in the industry. One of the greatest things Cowherd brings is his incredible analogies and insightful analysis on many sports topics. His guests are insightful and bring much needed perspective to some of Cowherds most debatable takes. While I do not always agree with him, I respect his positions and understand his perspective based on the data he presents.
Cowherd has a great sense of humor and has moved the needle when it comes to sports talk shows. His ability to build relationships is evident as he brings on a very diverse set of guests on a daily basis. The greatest thing Colin has done is his ability to be creative when creating specific segments such as "Dame or Deal, Blazin 5, weekly Herd Hierarchy, Where Colin was right/wrong." Despite Cowherd flip flopping on certain takes and changing the narrative to try and make people forget what he said just recently on the same topic, he is the best of the best and I am glad to listen daily.
