- An ad exec for a fashion magazine lands her dream assignment to organize the perfect Christmas wedding. Just one thing. The photographer she's been partnered with is her ex-boyfriend. She's got to bring her A game, while working through unresolved feelings.
- In the approach to Christmas, Brie Traverston, an art director with a New York City media firm, is given a last minute three week assignment due Christmas Eve of designing a magazine spread on Christmas weddings, her making partner at the firm riding on how well she does. The client, Isabella Elias, is flying in Paris based photographer Eddie Chapman for the assignment. The issue for Brie in doing a good job on this assignment: Eddie is her NYU college sweetheart, who she has not seen in seven years since that Christmas he announced he had been accepted into the Masters program in photography in Paris, when she was expecting him to ask her to marry him. Despite their vow to each other at that time to reconnect following her graduation from NYU in a year, they, out of circumstance, never did reconnect until now. While Brie wants to keep her and Eddie's relationship strictly professional, she admits to herself and her assistant Megan Hocking that she still has feelings for him. Brie may get her Christmastime heart broken once again with Eddie if the rumors are true that he and Isabella are a couple and on the verge of their own happily-ever-after.—Huggo
- Brie Traverston and Eddie Chapman were pretty close as they celebrated Christmas at a mansion that was loaned for a toy drive. But the joy went out of the season for Brie when Eddie announced he had been accepted into a master's degree program at a prestigious Paris photography school. He said that it would only be a year, but seven years passed with no word from him. Brie had worked her way up in a bridal magazine publication from intern to one of its best artistic directors. Office scuttlebutt suggests that she is being considered for partner status. When her boss Claudia assigns her to a last-minute Christmas wedding feature, she realizes that this could sew up her promotion. The only problem is that Claudia has selected an internationally known photographer to work with her - none other than Eddie Chapman. Eddie sweeps in with an important publishing partner, Isabella Elias. Eddie and she are always hugging and kissing in front of Brie. This is hard on her because she realizes that she has never gotten over Eddie. She has never dated much because no one could quite measure up to him. As Brie and Eddie work on the shoot, things between them begin to heat up - enough so that Brie's hopes are rekindled. Just as she's ready to tell Eddie that she loves him, she goes to his house to see Isabella showing off a new engagement ring. It is like a gut punch. But things are not quite as bad as they seem. Isabella's ring is not from Eddie, but from filmmaker George McIntyre. The shooting venue, set in the mansion from that Christmas celebration seven years ago, would make a perfect setting for a real wedding.—Garon Smith
