William Poole had to cut his long hair when he accepted the role of Lee. A year and a half after the initial shoot, a new opening scene was shot with and William had let his hair grow out again. His hair had to be cut short once again for this new opening scene. However, they included a few shots of his long hair before cutting it in the middle of this re-shoot. This is how the effect of him looking in the mirror with long hair and short hair was achieved. No wigs were involved.
