Seriously, am I really going to waste my time watching this garbage zombie movie? You've got to be kidding me! To start with, it's just a rehash of pop culture clichés that have been chewed up and spat out by Hollywood. And don't come at me with that "fun and innovative film" nonsense just because it has a tiny budget and a script that seems like it was written by a group of kids on a school break. If you're looking for a cinematic experience that will make you regret the time wasted, this is your movie. It's practically a remake of things we've seen before, but with an added "even worse" touch. Please, save yourself from this torture and find something better to watch!

10 years after the end of the trilogy, Plaga Zombie was brought back by the United States. The original film that started this saga was a very tacky home project, but it made an impact in Argentina by having promoted national genre cinema. The second film was an improvement and the third had a better quality that gave a worthy ending to the trilogy. This fourth film acts as an American remake, but it is part of the canon of the previous trilogy. The characters Nash, Sam and Manny are introduced as the American variants of Bill, John and Max that are going to star in this new misadventure. Among them also stands out the mercenary Kobra who turns out to be the best antihero that this saga could introduce. Being an American film, one could expect it to be a promising installment for the saga. It is a film that is also a Z-series film and offers a better look than the original film, but it is not a very exciting return to the saga that leaves the same taste in the mouth as the third film. The zombies have makeup that looks better than the cheap makeup in the previous films, but the humorous zombie moments here are few. The zombies have had a rather exaggerated and cartoonish personality in the series that gave them a certain charm, but that was reduced in this film. The gore and special effects are fine for the most part, but the CGI used makes them feel a little out of place. The CGI used in the second and third films was not very realistic, but it was very well-cared for CGI. The CGI in this film is unrealistic in most scenes and you can tell how unprofessional they are. A much more professional CGI would have improved the experience. The story at least was crafted with a fairly neat script and is an enjoyable story. The film is faithful to the style of the trilogy and you can see the influence that Plaga Zombie had on the underground sector in the United States, but having been made independently has limited the possibility that this was a production that could take the series to a much higher level. Hollywood could have even produced an installment that surpassed the original trilogy. Well, Plaga Zombie: American Invasion is an enjoyable movie with some good moments, but one could have expected a lot more from this American installment. It opens the door for a new trilogy that feels like a better start than the original film, but at the same time it is a way too average start to a new story. My final rating for this movie is a 6/10.

I found out about this 4th installment of this Argentinian trilogy Plaga Zombie. For a low budget movie I must say I was very impressed, the action was great it was funny as well .. I love the fact that the zombies are completely different from the norm... The characters were very original and I thought the homages were fantastic!! I recommend this movie VFX was also great for a low budget....

Awesome Zombie, if you're into zombies or low budget movies this will be for you!! It has comedy, has zombies, has the gore! Definitely a must watch fun film. If you want something new this is it. I really enjoy that they go a different route than your typical zombie movies, pretty fun special effects. The cast and crew are really fun and awesome people. Looking forward to seeing more to this franchise. Can't wait to see a sequel or even a prequel really fun. Watched this a few times and every time it gets funnier. I definitely recommend this, a must watch for all zombie lovers, can't go wrong with people who know zombie movies.

"Plaga Zombie: American Invasion" pits a seemingly unprepared motley crew of survivors against a hoard of bloodthirsty alien zombies. Seems almost like something you've seen before. But, you'd probably be wrong! This film is totally crazy, insane, cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, off-the-wall, smash 'em up, over-the-top, nutso, mind-blowing, and all-around totally loco fun! This is absolutely, positively, most definitely not your average zombie flick! BTW, If we ever have a real invasion of alien zombies, I want Kobra on my side of the fight! He is totally badass!!! Treat yourself and watch this film today!

We had the privilege of attending an early screening of Plaga Zombie: American Invasion, and walked away with a grin from ear to ear.
This film knows what it is and more importantly, what it isn't. It goes for the fun and the comedy and nails the slapstick tone with absolutely no apologies.
If you enjoy a heavy dose of laughs with your blood and tits, do not pass this up.

Such a fun movie. I can't recommend this one enough. I pre ordered the Blu Ray as soon as it was available. It takes what the original trilogy did and put an American spin on it. It is currently available on the free streaming service Tubi and can also be purchased through Amazon on Blu Ray. What a great movie to watch with a group of friends particularly around Halloween time. It has gore it has comedy, it has alien zombies. That makes for a great Halloween get together. I quote scenes from this movie all the time with my friends. It's a great watch alone or with friends. There aren't any uncomfortable nudity scenes. Just gore and laughter. Check out Plaga Zombie American Invasion.

Fun, entertaining continuation of the trilogy Plaga Zombie. I am biased as I was involved in the production. But even though I was hands on I had no idea the Final Cut would be so amazing. It's the only experience I have with fun/ movie making. I could not envision what our work on set would produce. The producer/ director had a vision and guided everyone to get the material he needed to cut it all together. Hundreds of people got involved and many relationships were formed over the days spent together filming. It was an excellent experience and I hope who ever reads this will enjoy the movie as well.
