Down on his luck, celebrated session musician and bass legend Guy Pratt accepts an invitation to spend five days playing a series of bass clinics in a remote Italian region, Molise organized by his amp sponsors. He expects it to be easy money, but unbeknownst to him, earnest Riccardo Monti, a tripe salesman and progressive rock enthusiast is in charge of this little enterprise. Riccardo was a huge fan of Deadly Harvest, a band Guy walked out on thirty years ago causing an acrimonious split and the band's demise. Meeting Guy is an opportunity Riccardo, an aspiring rock manager, has waited his whole life for. Is it such a problem his forte is not running tours but selling offal? Over five days Guy will be tested, embarrassed, electrocuted, fall off a mountain and fall in love before finally facing up to his past and why he walked out on a band he loved and the woman he adored.
