A humorous Phillips CD-i game that combines some elements of a board game, a dating sim and especially a matchmaking game. Heidi Lucas of Nickelodeon's "Salute Your Shorts" (1991) fame is the host of this full motion video matchmaking simulation for teen girls. One to four players can join Heidi's girl's club party and she'll help you pick your dream boyfriend from over 20 teenagers, each of whom has different style and attitude..Some of the candidates for your ideal boyfriends are an activist who always finds reasons to protest in school, a teen car mechanic who's not all that great at his job, and a street-smart scalper who knows when to make a pitch and when to lie low. The game plays live action footage over cartoon backgrounds which are mostly stylized scribbling of home and school. This is a party game and if there's only one player, the game will let the player choose between in-game friends who will join the player. Heidi will ask the players to give input about their dream boyfriends such as what type of clothes would they wear. Once the choices have been made, the players get to guess which of the guys did the other players choose. After each round the players get to know more about the boyfriends they can choose from through comical skits, where the guys flesh out what they're like. The player who guesses most often which guys the other players like will win the boyfriend of their choice and imaginative Heidi will show the winner what the perfect date with the chosen guy will be like and even what the future holds for you. The loser gets to see what the worst date with one of the guys will look like and why there's little future for your relationship with that guy. The game has many outcomes. There are two endings for each of the candidates for boyfriends. One shows the perfect date with that guy and your wonderful and very funny future together and the other shows the worst date with that guy and your funny but not very promising future together.
