First, this series has a lot of fake rating especially per/episode.
You'll have to watch the first episode to believe it but it's so bad you'll cry.
Bad acting, bad construction, worse FX, nothing makes sense (action takes place in Italy but somehow everyone speaks English, especially the bad military guys who are given commands in English because yea, why not).
Did I say anything about how bad the acting is?
Plagiated soundtracks and all?
I can see how the producers and actors in this movie made a nice campaign in private and said to their friends: "c'mon, rate our stuff, help us!" Cheats.

I highly recommend this series! Beautiful storytelling from beginning to end! Fantastic performances from all the actors which had me in tears! The humanity of all the characters who are put in this nightmare situation is wonderful and very well handled! Excellent directing, editing and soundtrack. Very high quality considering that it is an independent production. The standout performances, for me, were from Estella Warren, Gianni Capaldi and Gerry Shanahan. They all had a really strong presence on screen and carried the series well. Zombie stories have been done so many times but this is honestly one of the best I've ever seen! That's including Hollywood productions. More people should know about this.

Absolutely thrilling and captivating. This series keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout each episode and leaves you wanting more. Stunning scenery and cinematography, as well as realistic and quite gruesome special effects. The cast is superb, especially Sabrina Culver and Estella Warren, who brilliantly play the roles of Helen and Skyler, respectively. Sabrina Culver delivers a powerful and nuanced performance as Helen and Estella Warren is equally impressive and compelling as Skyler. A must-watch for fans of horror and drama, as it offers a fresh and original take on the zombie genre.
Great start of a serie.
I recently re-watched the walking dead from the start. People forget how much the walking dead has evolved from season 1. In season 1 of the walking dead you could even see masks etc. It was sort of liw budget.
So this serie is very ok, considering it is just the 1st season. It looks like any profesional series that are only in pilot-mode. Much better then most lowbudget series. And just a litle bit lower then the walking dead pilot season. You get used to it very quickly. And if this serie was to continue for more seasons then i am sure the budget would been increased and evolve into something very good/ok:)

Tense, gripping and bloody; John Real's zombie apocalypse drama 'Feel the Dead' pits an unsuspecting American family on vacation against hordes of flesh eating zombies in an adventure that will keep you glued to the edge of your seat. Taking cues from the renaissance of the zombie genre in recent memory, Real spares no expense in delivering a bloody spectacle, one that is marked with twists and turns at every corner. Estella Warren is fantastic and both Sabrina Culver and William McNamara give moving performances that elevate the story. The six episode season is not afraid to thrust its protagonists into life and death situations and as the story progresses, the mystery regarding the zombie epidemic slowly reveals itself as the protagonists cross paths with a variety of both allies and unsavoury characters in the pursuit of survival. John Real ensures that well written characters and absolutely terrifying zombies propel the story forward and what follows is a tense journey of survival and gore as flesh eating monstrosities go on an unstoppable rampage of violence and terror. With gritty cinematography, fantastic special effects and a heartfelt story at its core, 'Feel the Dead' is a win by any measure of success and a worthy addition to the zombie genre.

It is a good pilot. Like all series need to see more to understand if it will be a good show. But for the first season is very good. The zombies are very well looked after, and the characters are very well written.
