The opening titles (in cyan) is displayed in a unique transition to the carpet flooring of the Overlook Hotel. The red hexagons fade in, followed by the orange outer hexagons, and finally the brown pattern texture. The main title zooms slightly forward.
As the end credits roll, music from the Overlook Hotel accompanies them. However, the music terminates about 2.5 minutes before the culmination of the end credits, and the rest of the sound is that of the wind outside, passing through the maze.
