As I sat and watched this German documentary, I found myself wondering why Netflix put it on their American site. After all, this story seems very localized to Germany and folks outside the country would likely not be all that interested in Neo-Nazis and three serial murderers. Now I am NOT minimizing the evil these folks did...I am just saying it's probably a film that would be far more interesting to Germans than others.
As far as the story goes, it's well made and seems pretty exhaustive and interesting. But I also wondered if many times the film was trying to imply things instead of actually saying it--such as the extent of government involvement with these people or in possibly shielding them.
The version currently streaming on Netflix in the States is the full version--nearly 90 minutes in length.
