Indonesia Kirana was the second Embara Film's movie that I watched. Knowing that Embara Film was quite famous because of their Epic Java and any other traveling videos, IK was another new step that sent them into a whole new documentary industry.
Somehow, I feel there's something missing from this one. I think the problem was lies on the story that feels like a traveling log. Indeed the Embara were succeed to fuse audio and the visual it into one astonishing scene as they did in Epic Java. But yes, the story is need to be more clear what is is about. Does it about a choir or competition experience, Indonesian culture or even the music it self.
There might be many details that can be explored rather than showing time lapse and beauty shot of the cityscape over and over again.
At the end, it's interesting to watch a such length documentary which is absolutely challenging. It's worth to watch for you who desired to listen and enjoy beautiful cityscape of Europe blended with Indonesian Folk.
