When Jerry goes to Willie's mother's home to meet with him, Willie's mother mentions to Jerry that Willie is "one of 11 siblings." Jerry responds, telling her "I have 13 children of my own." To which Willie quips "Y'all have 26 kids between you." Of course, 13 plus 11 --- as per the released version of the film --- equals 24, not 26.

Willie's private jet is referred to as a 737, but it's actually a 727.

Punitive damages are not awarded in contract cases. Expectancy damages (i.e. how much Jeremiah O'Keefe would have anticipated to have received if the contract went through) are. In order to receive punitive damages, there needed to have been a tort element to the contract case (e.g. tortious interference).

In the settlement negotiation the negotiator talks about the measure of damages in tort --- but as had repeatedly been stated, this was a case in contract.

The Hibernia Tower visible when Willie is on a balcony in New Orleans at night is lit up blue and yellow for Ukraine --- this movie was filmed in 2022.

There are two night-time aerial shots of Willie Gray (Jamie Foxx) standing on a rooftop balcony. He is supposed to be in Jackson, Mississippi, but you can see the outline of the SuperDome football stadium in New Orleans, giving away the filming location. There is also a cut to what is supposed to be downtown Jackson, Mississippi at night, but is actually an aerial shot of downtown Montgomery, the state capitol of Alabama.

Actor Billy Slaughter, from New Orleans, pronounces "insurance" with emphasis on the first syllable, which is unique to the Southern States, even though his character Robert Sperry is supposed to be a Canadian representing a funeral home chain, based in Vancouver.
