When Jerry goes to Willie's mother's home to meet with him, Willie's mother mentions to Jerry that Willie is "one of 11 siblings." Jerry responds, telling her "I have 13 children of my own." To which Willie quips "Y'all have 26 kids between you." Of course, 13 plus 11 --- as per the released version of the film --- equals 24, not 26.

There is also a cut to what is supposed to be downtown Jackson, Mississippi at night, but is actually an aerial shot of downtown Montgomery, the state capitol of Alabama.
Actor Billy Slaughter, from New Orleans, pronounces "insurance" with emphasis on the first syllable, which is unique to the Southern States, even though his character Robert Sperry is supposed to be a Canadian representing a funeral home chain, based in Vancouver.
