A refreshingly honest and raw indie romance flick. The back drop is picturesque and the way it's directed transports you for an hour or so to pure paradise. Keen to see what Julian Galea does next.

In my opinion the story is very modern and I'm sure anyone can see her/himself in it. That's what makes it so interesting! I love this movie not only for the romantic story that encourages you to be open and adventurous when it comes to love but also for the beautiful sites of Malta. Having been to Malta I can say that Comino is shown from its best and anyone interested can see this small paradise of Maledives in Europe.
Tries to be a Before Sunset, guy and girl meet and talk about lots of serious stuff while falling in love throughout the day, but it fails miserably. Male lead isn't nearly as charming as Ethan Hawke and female lead is annoying and not particularly attractive. I enjoyed seeing the sights, but cringed at the forced chemistry between the 2 stars. I'd like to visit Malta, but without these two.

My wife and i caught this movie when it played at cinemas in Sydney Australia and the next day we began to save for a trip to Malta. The footage seen on this movie is fantastic and the actual story line was great. Love to Paradise is exactly that a LOVE STORY in PARADISE... Loved it!!!!
A great love story with thoughtful observations of chance encounters in life that can change everything. This film has a heart.
Just watch it, it's visually stunning and a great alternative to your typical romcom. If you've been to Malta you will love it, if you haven't been to Malta you'll be reaching for your passport before the end credits roll.
If you enjoy this, make sure to also watch the film Made In Malta by the same director.

I really loved this movie. I came across it from posters in Malta and I can recommend it highly to anyone looking for a great indie romance. It is visually stunning (it makes the island look spectacular - which it is) and with great direction by Julian Galea and a wonderful performance from Myko Olivier (I like his shows). I think people who like a good indie will enjoy what this film has achieved and I can't wait to see more from this team.
