Fun show to have on in the background, which gives you a few educational tips about wildlife and regulations. However, most of the show is the game wardens going around and hassling citizens for their fishing licenses.
New Braunfels Texas resident here. I like this show as well as the ones for New Hampshire, Maine, and now Louisiana. It's cool to see them filming at familiar locations that I have visited many times here in TX,.
Only complaint I have is I'd rather see more animal rescues and catching poachers and catching cheating hunters and less injured-hiker carryouts (esp in NH) and hassling kids for smoking weed and having a beer. I understand that these behaviors need monitoring and enforcement, but I really don't want to watch that kind of stuff (reminds me too much of my teen years, lo these 45 years ago).

I'm an old lady Texan. This is a great series that is both entertaining and educational. I also love seeing all of this great state. I have traveled over much of it, but Texas is a very big state. I have learned so much from watching this show about the laws and needed licenses. I didn't know I would need a hunting license to keep a baby squirrel or a turtle. I know it now ...thanks to this show. I am also impressed with the kindness of the game wardens. They teach all of us that honesty is always the best policy.

Lone Star Law shows what Texas Game Wardens go through on a daily basis, from dealing with poachers to arresting bad guys. It is good to know that things are actually being done to prevent poaching!

Browsing through all the channels a few weeks ago, I stumbled on this show. I started watching it and was hooked right away.
All the Wardens are very professional and treat everyone they come upon with respect and compassion.
I am watching all the episodes on the cable on demand.
Thanks to the Wardens and those responsible for the show for making a very educational and entertaining show.
The only thing that is negative is the constant twangy background music. It is very annoying.

I love this show, however; Texas game wardens always let the audience know what a violator COULD be charged with, but rarely follow through. I've seen some really cruel things done to animals, but when they catch the person it's always a 'warning'. Even if they go as far as arresting someone, it's a slap on the wrist. It's a shame.

I just got the tail end of the show when they said that a deer was injured along side of the road. The warden said that the doe would be better off just lettling nature take its course. He mentioned that the deer could be eaten by some coyotes. I think that it is atrocious that the game warden would leave an injured animal to die and suffer such wickedness. How would he like it if he were injured and he was left to suffer and die along side of the road. Other than that, I really enjoy watching all of the game warden shows: Louisiana law, Lone Star Law, Yellowstone Game warden. Your show is very interesting to watch.

It is a joke how these texas game wardens are treating these hunters. Don't watch any episodes out of texas or hunt in Texas. A game warden was giving a hunter a hard time over not having a pen to mark his tags when his truck was right around a corner. Killing a venomous snake is a criminal offense.

These wardens are your typical tyrant police , liars cowards , power drunk , hiding at night in the woods lol , real brave and professionals , they lie and trying to intimidate people trying to scare the so they admit guilt for petty crimes , horrible show . People shouldn't talk to these clowns , lawyer up . The fake police go to peoples homes and try to crush their freedoms , got a warrant no ? Then get off my property clown , I saw one episode were they lied to a wife to get her husband in trouble . Disgusting . Terrible terrible , don't watch this ridiculous show . These wardens are over payed , driving around acting like real police .
