A visual feast!

I was fortunate to discover this unique film at a festival last year. A truly great work of art. Catya Plate has created a unique world. "Meeting MacGuffin" is an absolute visual feast from start to finish. The filmmaker's use of stop-motion animation is stunning and the voice cast brings great humor to this modern and original tale. Highly recommended!

Most charismatic groundhog ever.

Everything is handmade with characters that are so strange and unique. They have very nice and very talented voices and personalities inside them. The creativity and imagination of Catya Plate stand out and I love the name of the groundhog, Gormal MacGuffin, and how he refers to the visitors who are brought to him as "homies".

A New Voice in Stop Motion

I saw this film at a festival and was blown away by its ingenuity, its creativity and message. Catya's film brings forward a new world, full of wonderfully strange characters, and surprises start to finish. I haven't seen a stop motion film this unique in some time, and can't wait to see what Catya has up her sleeve next. A visionary director and creative voice.

'Meeting MacGuffin' is a delightfully tactile and unique stop motion work indeed. It's both charming and unsettling at the same time, and all the while is completely visually engrossing for sure!

It's a powerful film what was creatively done with a strong message! I highly recommend you watch this film and share it with others! I can't wait to see what else Catya has in stored for us, she's the creativen driving force behind this impactful film!
