The trailer was so much better than the movie. Story line was iffy at best. It wasn't even entertaining.
The movie tried but missed the mark.
If the sets are anything to go by, this film looks and feels low budget. The acting (or lack there of) was strained, almost overacting. The movie needed a lot of things to improve it, but what it needed most was a capable director.
VERDICT: Not recommended viewing.

Obvious (very) low budget film. I watched about a half an hour of it and that was all I could take. The acting was deadpan and sub-par. The sets were lacking. It was just a bad movie. Now, the premise was good and the trailer was good. But the movie wasn't.
They have smooth gimballing cameras, they have steady shots of close ups, they have the ability. Yet they chose to wiggle the frame about as if it tells us _just_ _how_ _real_ the dialog or action is.
Great potential, poor execution.
No one seems to think it's eerily inhuman when the protagonist fails to succumb to what should have been fatal blows. Instead, they remain, unfazed by sorcerous and eldritch powers to continue fighting. "Hey, I just unloaded a full magazine of .357 into the chest of my opponent, I can see the holes and blood in his chest, but I think once my gun is empty I'll step up and punch him, my fist being superior to a half rounds of 357 mag." Next villain, "I just saw my gang buddy unload his gun into this guy, then punch him, then get killed. I guess I'll step up.an punch him, too."
The stars come because the protagonist is a fine looking male specimen.

Is this a joke?
Please, stop talking.
Wow, this is awful.
These were my repeating thoughts, over and over, for 40 straight minutes until I turned it off. Painful dialogue. Terrible actors. This film must have strategically released after the deadline for this year's Golden Raspberry Awards, or it would have been a shoe-in for a Razzie. Maybe multiple.
