Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden is the third movie that Christopher McDonald and David M. O'Neill have done together.
The idea for Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden arose when Chris and David we're at a Dodger game in Los Angeles when the Dodgers ran out to the field to take infield. Standing on the third and first base line are older guest pages who watch for fans rushing the field. Staring into the eyes of a 90 year-old gentlemen, Chris calmly remarked, "I can take that guy". From there David was inspired to write a new screenplay based on Chris's signature personality.
David O'Neill's first job out of the University of Oregon was working as Harrison Ford's photo-double along side Steven Spielberg in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
