New and Upcoming Sci-Fi and Fantasy

An ordinary arts club at an ordinary middle school, Tsukimori Middle School. One member, Uchimaki Subaru, wastes his abundant talent trying to draw his perfect 2D waifu. Another, Usami Mizuki, can't stop thinking about the loser that is Uchimaki-kun. Then there is the club president, who, despite being asleep all the time, seems to care for the two, and another vague, sketchy member, Colette. Today, yet again, in this art club full of mild disappointments, a problem arises.

The Art Club Has a Problem is a charming slice-of-life anime centered around the hilarious and unique members of an art club. The story unfolds through their quirky adventures and mishaps, offering plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments. Each character brings their distinct personality, from the passionate otaku Uchimaki to the unmotivated but lovable Usami. The animation is colorful and expressive, perfectly capturing the lighthearted and comedic tone. While the plot isn&#39;t groundbreaking, the show&#39;s strength lies in its endearing characters and relatable high school setting. A fun, easy watch for fans of light-hearted comedy!

This Art Club Has a Problem!

Mizuki Usami seems to be the only member of her school&#39;s art club that is actually interested in art; all the club&#39;s president does is sleep in the clubroom and Subaru Uchimaki who spends his time drawing his &#39;2D Wives&#39; and intends to quit the club when he has drawn his perfect wife. Over the course of the twelve part series more characters are introduced and the club members get into a number of amusing situations; examples being trying to cover up the accidental destruction of another&#39;s work and getting locked in the abandoned storeroom that adjoins the clubroom. Inevitably there are romantic feelings directed at somebody who is fairly oblivious. This is one of those series that is a lot of fun while you are watching it but is quickly forgotten afterwards. It has good characters and provides a sufficient number of laughs. The animation and character designs are pretty good although as is so often the case the character styles are such that they wouldn&#39;t look out of place if they walked into another similar series. Overall I&#39;d recommend this to fans of the genre; it is pretty funny and even emotionally touching at times. These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

Artistically wise, it is certainly very nice - the characters are well drawn, but as usual, does suffer from the usual limited style of leg/arm and mouth movement. Story wise, it is certainly not a constant comedy - it generally veers towards drama and pathos, rather than constant comedic situations - the clubs President meeting the granddaughter of the clubs original supervisor, being a case in point. There are also limited directions the story could go really, which does mean the series lacks something really exciting or interesting. The characters are all very nice, with the exception of Subaru - he is a complete idiot most of the time, unable to recognise the fact that not only does Mizuki like him, but the fact that his paintings (whilst artistically good), are not to particularly liked. Its certainly worth watching (especially if you can get past the rather dry first episode)

Ohhh man what an anime worth watching. I will just say where the hell is season 2. It was really good and as I search it is really underrated which is kind of sad because it&#39;s very good.

This anime has some drama in it, some comedic scenes also. The story revolves around art club. This is nichijou anime showing things happening in their day to day life. Overall a fun anime to watch.
