In this early short performance of Tom Hardy, the Oscar nominated actor plays an Italian authoritative figure (a mobster, maybe) of the 1930's,
talking about his business, his life and family. The little knowledge I have of Italian helped me in bits and pieces but I couldn't get the real intentions of it all; a native or fluent speaker will
get the jokes or understand the parody he's dubbing (not Tom's voice). But it's amusing to watch due to the technical aspects of the piece as it feels like
a genuine material from the early 20th century and early cinema creations, it's very well composed and Hardy's acting also makes a believable experience despite using someone else's
voice. You can feel the humor there. 6/10.
