- Ali (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a poor man turned gangster who gets fired after working in an owner's clothing store. Ali was not a very good salesman to begin with and to top it off Ali unknowingly makes fun of the owner's child for being fat & is hence fired. Ali worries that he won't be able to earn money anymore to take care of his mother named Sulbha (Seema Biswas) but his friend Maqsood (Arbaaz Khan) inspires him to join Danger Bhai's (Nikitin Dheer) gang. Danger Bhai is not a very effective don and even his crew questions who made him the boss.
Ali and Maqsood try to get money from a rich, old and royal woman Padmavati (Farida Patel Venkat) (as Hafta for Danger Bhai). Padmavati is stubborn, arrogant and fearless and refuses to give in to threats. She brings her own shotgun to subdue the mobsters. But Ali and Maqsood fight her off (by pulling the carpet from under her feet) and manage to extract the protection money.
Ali also plays Gully cricket with the boys in his locality and is reputed to hit sixes at will. Ali is all set to be married but the alliance is broken when the clothing store owner recognizes him and turns out to be a close relative of the bride's family. He brands Ali as an under-garment seller & a loser. Sulbha had no clue and believed that Ali was the owner of his own garments business. Sulbha is humiliated as all the guests leave. Ali is devastated as Sulbha is a Hindu and yet she adopted Ali and brought him up as per Muslim traditions. Ali could not bear to see tears in her eyes. Maqsood says that the world only respects money. Ali goes to golf course to extract protection money from Singhania (again as Hafta for Danger Bhai). As Singhania (Micky Makhija) was not attending to Ali and Maqsood as he was unable to put a ball in hole. When Ali objects, he suddenly gets challenged by Singhania. Ali accepts his challenge, and he wins it to collect the money.
Ali's uncle Kishan Lal (Asif Basra) who is a caddie driver was at the golf course and saw Ali playing. Kishan tells Ali that if he plays golf professionally, he can earn lots of money and can become champion. Ali goes for practice but unable to do it properly as he is not motivated to play golf as a career choice. Kishan tells Ali that his future is stuck between a perfect shot and wrong choice of a career in illegal businesses with Danger Bhai. Ali is honest and inspired takes the correct path and practices perfectly.
In this process Ali falls in love with Megha (Amy Jackson), a manager of golf champion Vikram Rathod (Jas Arora) who is "arrogant", greedy and dishonest too. Megha has praised Ali's performance but when Vikram tries to insult him, he (Ali) overcomes it by telling him that even if poor people play the game which is typically played by the rich people, the poor can learn to win but "never lose".
Ali pays the fee of entering into tournament and qualifies into top 60 against 100 players. Vikram soon fires Megha and shows his arrogance to Ali, but Ali reflects his attack by lessons that he learned from the world and decides to show him that he works hard and plays honestly to win as Vikram thinks that Megha is behind Ali's victory. Vikram turns out to be the son of the royal, old woman Padmavati whom Ali and Maqsood fought with. She lost her memory due to the encounter.
Ali wins events and earns money to take care of his mother Sulbha. Danger Bhai jealousy tricks and blackmails Maqsood to not help Ali win the next tournament as Danger Bhai is betting on Ali's loss & wants to make money with it. Maqsood complies by taking away Ali's caddie Kishan Lal. When Megha finds out she tells Ali's mother (Sulbha) and Maqsood gets scolded for this. Maqsood tries to explain why he was doing, Ali's mother convinces Maqsood that being honest/true person is more important than rich person, Money can buy nothing except fun and rest and Ali has showed it.
Kishan tells Ali that Maqsood has troubled him (Kishan) too. Ali feels annoyed and insults Maqsood. Maqsood regrets and decides to help Ali. Vikram soon feels jealous and injures Ali's hand (while pretending to be his friend), everyone feels worried and starts praying.
Ali comes back to final event with injured hand which is recovering currently. Bade Bhai (Jackie Shroff) comes in the match to see, and Danger Bhai joins Vikram. Maqsood insults and tells Vikram that Vikram can injure Ali's hand but not his courage and goal and Maqsood becomes new caddie driver.
Ali gets inspired by mother who is succeeded in insulting back Danger Bhai and Bade Bhai who were trying to insult Ali. Ali then during this match gains his confidence back, removes plaster-bandage and plays perfectly. When Maqsood asks Ali what he's going to do, Ali says that he's going to "hit six like in a cricket. Ali performs great shot flying above the tree and coming into a hole and Ali wins. Vikram accepts his defeat and lets him go. Bade Bhai (Jackie Shroff) praises Ali and cancels illegal business and Ali celebrates victory with his friends and his lover Megha.
