Elsa Dorfman: It was so embarrassing not to be anything. I wasn't married, so you had to be called something when people said what are you doing. In those days, it was mortifying not to be married, so I had to have a thing, so what could be better? My camera! I'm a photographer!

Featured review
Documentary highlighting the life and work of elsa dorfman, 1937-2020. She was one of the few operators of the 20 by 24 inch large film camera from polaroid. Taking mostly portraits, she had made some fun ads. Commentary and photos with allen ginsberg. Apparently, they were good friends. Musicians jonathan richmann and bob dylan. There's even a short talk with edwin land, who had come up with the instant photograph, and camera, for polaroid. The family keeps their favorite photo of the two taken, and elsa keeps the rejected one, called the B Side. Yup, elsa has her own wikipedia page. Directed by errol morris. Had won his oscar for the fog of war. It's fun to watch. Elsa is a character!
