- TriviaThis series' first season was originally intended to be released as three 3-episode DVDs, covering only the first of the books. When Netflix picked it up, however, they decided it should be 13 episodes. So more story had to be added, borrowing from the second book.

Another animated win for Nexflix. I know it is based on books like Tales of Arcadia and The Dragon Prince, but so far, none have disappointed. It reminds me of Troll Hunters because it focuses on frogs who live behind an invisible shield for protection, similar to Trolls living in a mountain. It is a great story about how one frog overcame adversity, even though the other frogs did not believe in him by telling him he couldn't be what he wanted. Even though he was not made like a Kulipari, he did his best to shine in his own way. Everyone needs to think that way and shine in our own way, using what we were given. Great story and I hope there will be more to come.
