The novel the film is based on is actually the third book in a series entitled St Helena Vineyards. The sequel film Summer in the Vineyard (2017), is based on the second book.
Who knew there was a MERCURY pick-up truck. Seen in the movie as belonging to the lead female character, this was a Canadian version of the U.S. F-Series. Many Hallmark movies are made in Canada; this may explain the rare screen sighting.
