This short was certainly engaging from start to end, and was easy to follow along and watch!
The special effects with the added layers of POV footage with the contact lens was incredible throughout, and used plentifully - with great precision every time.
Additionally, the many POV shots throughout very much added a dynamic layer of cinematography to the film, somewhat reminding me of a Hardcore Henry feel with an immersive experience, bringing you RIGHT into the film and immersively engaging the viewer.
Highly recommended - well done!

The visual effects were incredible- very intriguing. The direction was excecuted well and I loved the switch back and forth form english to spanish- created a better character development. My only complaint was some of the acting at points wasn't top notch, but overall it was a great short film!

Love the editing for this movie, and the illustration look like a masterpiece for a low budget movie. The twist at the end though, love it
Love every single thing on this movie, from tje illustration, editing, concept and the story too, all of it just so fresh never saw it before in any other movie
The Choice of Cast was truly exceptional. The Directorial execution was amazing specially for the POV shots. The choice of location and the story being Original was the best part in the film. Visual effects were the prime features and justified the story at its best. Good Job Patrick.

As low budget short films go, this was one of the best I've seen in terms of production and special effects. The story line is a classic hackers vs government with a fun twist and the casting is decent. The performance by the antagonist was exceptional and stole the show. The Leak has all the makings of a fantastic Marvel style comic book/movie series and I would definitely watch the sequels. Bravo!

As a low budget short film I was surprised by quality of visuals and illustrations.
All plays was acceptable except hacker girl.
This short fill revolves around a hacker who is being targeted by the government. The hackers sarcasm helps keep the story moving with cut scenes revealing a government agency who scratches the dystopian itch.
The visual effects used in this film are quite impressive. While most of the technology we've seen in films like this one, it's used to tell the story. The camera becomes part of the tech as you discover the world through the eyes of the hacker. There is a creative scene that interjects comic strips to advance the story quickly is a unique addition. It's a genuinely original component that is unexpected.
However, the story doesn't seem to pay off ultimately. It uses the similar technique to hold the elements that reveal the plot twist till the very end but doesn't hint to them early on. Most of the film revolves around plot elements that don't have a resolution.
All in all, it's a decent film with creative cinematography and an interesting flare for the dramatic. Love a quick thriller and a sarcastic lead; you'll love this short film.

This very well done!! Very exciting to watch, the actors are amazing! Patrick Barbeau is very good directing on this one!!
The short film centered around a hacker looking to recruit more hackers. At first I thought the plot would be a little more thicker, but it didn't dive into anything big.
Visually the film was great. The cinematography and animation was spot on. The technology used and camera angles helped push the story along. Music was a very nice touch as well, a solid score. The main actor and actress were good for the film but the supporting male hacker could have used some more direction. The director did a great job overall getting performance out of the two main actors. Overall a visually appealing short.

The visual direction and animations are in sync.
The sound score and music is on point!
I cant believe that the budget of this movie is low.
Amazing Work!
I like these filming style and scenes! Even if that"special eye" effect seems a bit weird it's pretty nice and I can recomand this to all.

The story it's self is a bit simple and complex. I really want the team who made this to turn it into a feature as it has so much more potential and story than it being just a short. I think as a short story it was told perfectly and left the audience wanting more. I feel that the cinematography in all short film's lack but this film although I wasn't a fan of it I feel it fit the story perfectly. I think the pacing of the edit was spot on and the animations came in handing for the parts that weren't shot. Overall as a short film with probably a small budget I can say that it was well executed. Most short films or films in general like this don't hit the mark but this one did. I think the acting at times was a little rocky but I think it was over shadowed by the story and a pace that it was being told. I think the main character lack any true motivation for doing what he was doing but it's a short so you don't have time to truly push that out on screen. All and All is an A on the grading scale for shorts and I would love to see this turned into a feature.
This short movie has a very good pace and humour! I also like the visual implementation :)

I thought it was well shot and well put together. I always felt connected to what was going on & interested in what was going to happen next. Loved the actors and the action. that he mixed Spanish in as well with the subtitles. Would have loved to have been apart of this.
Overall, I thought the visuals of the film were great, very well done visual effects. I wish the story has more to it, there was a lot of elements that could of been expanded and left a lot unanswered.

I love this film.. The right mix between effects and normal shot. A great short film to low budget. A classic example that don't need so much money for great works.
