**A few spoilers ahead** Nobody was able to save this movie, nobody tried to save it. &quot;Lock&quot; is just another chaotic movie by Smeep Kang, but this time the story looked different and a little promising until it was destroyed by all the acting. Nobody acted well except Ghuggi, although he didn&#39;t show his true act, maybe he himself knew that the story and direction were horrible. The story has no soul at all, I tried my best to get some laughs from it, but failure! Karamjit Anmol is seen having a face off with the main character played by Smeep Kang himself. But Anmol&#39;s character disappeared and the movie ended, nobody knows if the fight was over or what. Same way, Sippy Gill appeared as friend/love interest of Smeep Kang&#39;s daughter, but nobody knows where this character went. If I prepare a list of horrible acting, everybody will be on the list except Ghuggi, because Ghuggi can&#39;t act bad, he is an actor inside, although he didn&#39;t do any good to the movie.

The movie is completely different from what was shown in the trailer. Pathetic acting and direction.

Unlike other punjabi films, the focus of this movie is not just insane jokes and typical Canada immigration dreams. It starts slowly to build its plot and characters and then the main event of the movie out-folds which circles around these build characters and values. Events are intertwined in a beautiful way and the end leads to redemption for the narrative in an unpredictable way. Acting is decent by all actors especially the lead actor. I hope such movies are regularly made in punjabi movie industry.
