A young man, failing at life, is offered a new start as a 10 years younger high-school student.

I would describe Relife as a teen romance movie, so it&#39;s obviously quite cheesy and the story isn&#39;t very original either. But I enjoyed it. The awkward social interactions between these shy and always polite Japanese kids make it endearing to watch. It&#39;s also very wholesome. There is no vulgarity at all, which provides a nice escape from the oversexualized culture of today.

As per view of its anime version (original version) they makes us pretty good example of a NEET who is trying his best to find a job but couldn&#39;t find it. In movies it is pretty fast to catch the originality. They don&#39;t show the second ReLife worker &quot;That&quot; girl with specs and some places it looks like they are trying to get in character that&#39;s the reason they make it so unnatural acting sometimes they go off beat and overdid it. I would like to say they are pretty good job and having fun to do this movie and making real bonds. They show us what is life of a high schooler but overall it still maintains its original entertainment purpose.

This is the first Japanese film that I have seen - and what a lovely surprise! Where have I been all these years?!<br/><br/>The film is about a guy his late 20s who hasn&#39;t achieved much in life: no job, no real friends and no hope.
Thanks to a medical experiment, he takes a drug that makes him appear 10 years younger. He&#39;s back at high school where he has a second chance to achieve something in life.
He soon rediscovers a youthful energy mixed with an older person&#39;s appreciation for life.<br/><br/>This plot is original and intriguing. It definitely got me hooked on Japanese films!

The wish of changing the past to have a better future may have come across everyone&#39;s mind. The movie is about the similar idea. A guy in his late twenties frustrated of his present life wishes to change his past to have a better future. His dream comes true when he gets a chance to do so as a part of experiment for one year. As he relives his life as a high school student, he makes some new friends. He cherishes the high school time more thane ever. He falls in love with girl but feels bad he will lose her at the end of the year of his Relife. After the end of his Relife period he realizes the Importance of Friendship and cherishes he present life more than before. Movie is pretty average with emotional touch and few laughs.

For a Japanese movie based on an anime this one isn&#39;t so bad. Very typical romance comedy and the twist is very obvious. Would have been better if it didn&#39;t end the way it did. In any case, if you&#39;re a fan of Japanese romance comedy and anime. You&#39;d probably like it.

I&#39;ve expected this to be better than it ended up being, as the story seemed intriguing and the mange on which this film was based on is quite popular. However, the result was rather boring. The story did had some originality at first and it had it&#39;s funny moments, mainly due to the leading actor who was really good portraying a man who was turned into a teenager again. However, most of the events of this film were just the same ones you&#39;ll probably find in any other Japanese manga school movie: the festival, the school fair, the trip etc. I would rather had the story focusing more on the main character and his journey to change himself and become a better future self. Finally, the love story was okay, had it&#39;s twists and surprises, but the two actors didn&#39;t have much chemistry to work with. So, 4 out of 10.
