This is not a film, it is an experience. The portrayal of the story was so raw. It is the real story of Dhaka guys. It is so much relatable and this makes it a must watch. It is not like any other movie. The movie is a never ending struggle of a guy who lives in the busiest city of this third world country. His struggle is different, his pain is different, his love is different. A never seen before experience in cinema.
Cinema which have everything. A good starting and a beautiful unfinished ending with great plot, fine Actor and lot more.
A much better quality film considering the budget (8 Lakh taka only). The movie didn't get a hall for the exhibition after its release.
A story about a man who lost the battle of life and trying to escape from the city. Urban life and some of it's inevitable real events, where complexity in life continues to grow. Hats off to Mostafa monwar for his vivacious acting.
Occasionally there is slight mismatch in voice scale, though it's a not big deal considering the budget. Much enjoyable story with a good ending. Storytelling is too good.

Live from Dhaka is a depressing, sultry, and somewhat abstract Indie movie told in a gothic style. It is a black and white movie, but black is the dominating color here! Like all atmospheric indie film, the number of character is few, but there is a lot of touchy montages. The sound effects played a great role to create the atmosphere of the movie. The news bloopers on TV and radio, the car horn, the train whistle, the mob violence always telling us that there is no life in this city, this city is no fairy tale!
The budget for this movie was only 10000 USD! This is the best example of how to make a good movie with low or almost no budget! This is an atmospheric indie film, and the director made the atmosphere properly.
Sometimes this movie reminds me the tragedy of Requiem for a dream, sometimes it reminds me the industrial sound of Eraserhead, but at last, it is a very Abdullah Mohammad Saad film, which I will remember for a long time.

"I'm not a saint, I'm just an ordinary man! I have a limit to patience!"
The best Bangladeshi film I have seen in a while. It is a nihilistic tale of Dhaka city, through the eyes of an educated unemployed 30 year old - who loses everything in stock market crash, fraudulence & political instability in 2010s. Sudden violent outbursts & manipulative acts of all the characters in the film portrays a deep ingrained sickness within the culture of unfreedom, depression, unwellness & exploitation.
