This is a ridiculous film only made watchable by the sexy hardbodies just frolicking around - I mean, I haven't had this much fun watching a movie since Magic Mike came out!! It's made even better because of the frequent sweaty workout scenes amongst the two leading men, have mercy! And Ron never wears a shirt when he's at home so we get to watch all that deliciousness walk around shirtless on the phone...shirtless watching television...shirtless arguing with his wife...shirtless shirtless shirtless:):):):) That's what I'm talking about.
Okay, to comment on the film directly, the storyline was good but there was something off about the acting, which seemed kind of stale (I'm sorry) The couples didn't treat each other like they loved each other either. They were supposed to be married couples but they were acting like teenagers dating in high school.
And the ending was just tooooo much. The villain overacted and the CGI blood shocked me because it was so obvious! Couldn't they just use fake blood like every other movie?

I saw this a couple of times and every time I see it comes across as an attempt at gay porno, with women mixed in for interest.
The two male leads appearing shirtless or in stick-to-skin underwear throughout most of the movie was a bit gratuitous. Their bodies should have been given screen credit for this.
The nurse character's gay friend at the hospital was such a RAGING QUEEN that every gay man who sees this should feel INSULTED.
This is the only movie I have seen where women and men are clothed when engaging in sex. I Think in some scenes the women PUT on clothes?
Club Caligula just creeped me out.
The ending was a bit over the top - poor Tilky Jones.
If you are a gay man and watch this, you'll enjoy the scenery - but remember who they are stereotyping.....
5/10.

Let's see. We have an R rated movie about sex that doesn't have any nudity. That's already a recipe for disaster. Add to that the worst acting imaginable, and a childish plot that doesn't hold any surprises... and you have Open Marriage. As usual with really bad movies, there's laughter to be had in how cringe worthy they are... this is no exception.
Hard to imagine this being written, cast, produced, acted and directed by anyone with an IQ above 7. I wonder what that makes the IQ of the viewer, me? Lol
Terrible film in so many ways. How do people sleep at night knowing they made this? Weird.
I sleep at night by watching this dreck.

I had to get to know the characters a bit and even though I thought the paranoid thread thing as it was happening was a sort of distracting gambit I found it to be very very satisfying in the end, pretty cool, everyone did a nice job! That pscycho blonde bitch was excellent!

Open Marriage (TV Movie 2017)
BASIC PLOT: Ron (Tilky Jones) and Becca (Nikki Leigh) are having a tough year, and it's taking a toll on their marriage. Ron was injured on the job, and hasn't been able to work. They were trying to have a baby, but that hasn't been going so well either. Now, Ron is finally on the mend, and maybe they can start putting things back together. Becca has had to be the primary bread winner for the past year, and the extra shifts as a nurse, has stretched Becca to her breaking point. All of this strife and uncertainty has taken a toll on Ron and Becca's sex life. They are feeling unconnected, until their best friends, Mindy (Kelly Dowdle) and Max (Jason Tobias), suggest opening up their marriage. Max and Mindy had been on the verge of divorce, but since they opened their marriage, they are a completely different couple. It takes some convincing, but they get Becca and Ron to try it out with them. After some hot swapping, Becca begins to notice a strange black car around their loft. Then, odd gifts begin appearing. Ron is becoming more and more jealous, even though his own behavior is not above reproach. Just when they were coming back together, it feels like they are going to lose it all. Can Ron and Becca pick up the pieces of their crumbling lives, and figure out who's stalking them, before things get out of control?
WHAT WORKS: *The principal and ancillary actors are all really hot, there's something for everybody here. For those who like the girl next door type, you have Nikki Leigh, for the exotic, Cassi Colvin, the vixen, Kelly Dowdle, the muscle bound hot guy, Jason Tobias, hot guy next door, Tilky Jones, the hot, sweet gay guy Zach Cramblit, and my favorite, for those who prefer whips and chains, there's Debra Wilson. The casting agent, Lindsay Chag, definitely gets a nod here (she also had casted some of my other favorite TV movies).
*The cover art is decent on this one, on so many of these, that's not the case.
WHAT DOESN'T WORK: *There are spoilers in the trailer! WTF?! Who thought that was a good idea? And once again, who is the guy doing the voiceover in these trailers?! Please, send him back to Iron Chef America!
*Some of Tilky Jones' lines come off sounding wooden, and unbelievable. I'm usually a fan, but in this one, he's the weak link.
*If you're trying to hide the fact that you're pregnant, leaving a positive pregnancy test on the top of the trash, is probably NOT a good idea.
*Why would you be trying to have a baby when you can't work, due to injury? That seems pretty stupid. Also, making a loft your 'forever home,' when you're pregnant is acinine! Any loft is dangerous for a toddler, but this one is a death trap! I'd be afraid to have a dog in this place, much less an infant!
*There's no need to ruin Ron's (Tilky Jones) job prospects. It's stupid, and as a plot device, it goes nowhere, except to ruin the ending. Better to stick with the mysterious gifts, and the stalker, those things work. But it makes NO SENSE for the stalker to ruin Ron, especially since he's not the target of the obsession. It just doesn't work.
TO RECOMMEND, OR NOT TO RECOMMEND, THAT IS THE QUESTION: *I would recommend this movie to fans of erotic thrillers, TV movies, camp and eye candy. It's a fun ride, sit back and enjoy! This is a melodrama people, so there will be stereotypes (I'm talking to you ur13052788). That's part of the art form, idiots!
CLOSING NOTES: *This is a Made-For-TV movie, please keep that in mind before you watch\rate it. TV movies have a much lower budget, and so your expectations should be adjusted.
*I have no connection to the film, or production in ANY way. I am just an honest viewer, who wishes for more straight forward reviews. Hope I helped you out.

Just because you're good looking, doesn't mean you can act. I've seen better acting in porn. It's almost a comedy it's so bad. Watch ten minutes. Say to yourself, boy these people are attractive and turn it off.

I liked the film "Open Marriage". The title could have been changed to help draw in a bigger audience. Maybe the title could have been "And Baby Makes Three". The four main actors held their own in this story about free wheeling spouse swapping and yes, there were even a few hidden agendas which come to light near to the end of the film that impressed me since this was a low budget made for TV film.
There is some scheming going on but you will find yourself asking the question "whose zooming who?" Each of the four main characters and even a fifth character who the four meet at a swingers after hours club may or may not have something to do with some of the suspicious undertakings going on. One of the couples is very well off financially and they seem to rub their wealth directly into the faces of their less fortunate old and dear friends who are barely able to keep their heads above water. Can these friendships be maintained and how will the spouse swapping affect the foursomes friendship and marriages?
I will say that the film kept me interested and that it is worth a watch. I give the film a 6 out of 10 rating.

Before you browse my review and reach to a conclusion, i'd wish to tell you that i am a inflexible fan since childhood therefore of these reviews does not matter on behalf of me. however i am posting my honest confession for all those to whom it matters.I just love this Movie.
I thought it was great movie, much more three dimensional than I was expecting. director provided a massive dose of eye-candy and played her part well too, although it would have been nice for that part to have been developed more.
